Hi Peeyushi di, I hope you are taking good care of yourself. As always your vlogs are always so homely. It's amazing to see how you are involved and intrigued to learn thai and teach your kids. Yes, the main factor is motivation, definitely, this is the only driving factor. Now the big question is motivation kaha se laye. I would say, set your LONG TERM goals for learning thai don't think about SHORT TERM that learning thai is difficult. Think about the benefits if you can speak thai at least at a conversational level, it will feel a sense of achievement and it will help you get easy and open with the locals. I am learning thai too and why is that because in the year 2023 I am planning to come to Bangkok to study, for sure I will opt for the international program but the first thing that came to mind was it I was to explore in every way be it culture wise, bond wise, professionally anything I need to learn thai. Also, di I recently read an article which says whenever you try to learn a new language your brain is more open to the creative side and don't think about it is hard, yes it will feel hard at the beginning but again remind yourself why are you learning. I hope I am making sense to you. Also, di in your free time you can check Banana Thai youtube channel. It's a very good channel, the best channel for beginners. All the best!

I tried many ways to learn Thai including CZcams videos. But found that the way my kids are learning is something I always wanted, that is to begin from basics, vovels and consonants 🙂
And I am enjoying it.
