as Interesting as the X and S are... they're kind of known for being the most problematic Tesla's. I would just steer clear of them. I don't want to buy a money pit. This particular X might not be too bad but there are many others which have had ridiculous issues! Basically as if you'd buy a Jeep. I would be putting dielectric grease in that connector so that water doesn't get into the electronics. It's in a spot which can get wet easily.
@@timobrien4281 I had the same thing come up on my 2016 model x ... I put a set of gauges on the ac lines and saw that it was low on refrigerant, i had to add about 3/4 of a pound or so of 134a, its been several weeks and the code has not come back as of yet.

Was this throwing a code before you replace the compressor, and if so, do you remember what it was?
