lol, I loved the panels’ live reaction to the Pep news. 🤣 Very solid assessment of the season and the squad moving forward. I’m looking forward to the window opening tbh, can’t wait to see what fresh blood Arne brings in.

Slot has a bit of a job to do w the whole current squad tbr. I think if he has a tactical preference for 4231, then this squad isn't quite suited. For me there's just a tad too many "projects" in the squad. Arne would be wise to shore up the defence to be stable/cohesive in the principles he wants to implement while also giving himself chance of success at same time. I think it would be smart not to have a drastic dropoff, by not grasping the League standards fairly quickly & adapting formations. The eyes on him WILL BE ENORMOUS come first half of season, & I'm hoping he's doing his homework. Would be smart to get a player like CB Joachim Andersen. Will come in & be solid/ready to go, still even has room to improve w talented squad.
I support all players wearing the red shirt, but I have ?? on some of them. Grav & Dom were shocking to me at the back end of season guys. Some of the natural footballing skills they displayed were not of the level. Untimely/Misplaced passes...depth, timing, direction of passes was atrocius to be quite blunt. Decision-making (shoot or pass) was off. I just saw a huge developmental gap w Grav, even tho he flashes good on the eye a few times!! Some traits u expect a midfielder having in their pocket soon as they step on the pitch, even if they're a new transfer.! Mac10 showed that straight off. Harvey was great this year & he's our 2nd most talented natural passer, sees those forward gaps with ease BUT he's not got the man body to NOT be overrun in there just yet. And Curtis can't seem to stay on the field long enough over 38+ games.
And I haven't even got to the forwards!!

Nunez can't be sold unless offer in the range of 70m. Fsg will not report a loss of 45m+....on 85m asset. We all know they don't roll that way. Nunez is now a Slott project...
imho Diaz rumours about Barca are simply an improved contract boost tactic.... Could be sold if a realistic offer comes in.... doubt it's from Barca....

We have missed a massive opportunity to tempt Guardiola to manage our club. I said when Klopp announced that we should put feelers out to him. I know he loves our club and fans. Now we have Slott an unknown who's never managed at elite level or even in the Prem. This will go down as a massive missed opportunity. I don't see Slott having the gravitas for our club. It's a bit like when Villa Boas went to Chelsea.

Good show guys but I think as a club and fanbase we may have to become more ruthless, perhaps a question we should ask ourselves is what would Pep/Man City have done....I know, I felt uncomfortable typing it too.

Be ruthless ffs, sell Diaz and Nunez. The arguments for obviously far outweigh arguments against.
