OMSI 2 | Streetlite on a rainy Gainsborough 102 + Depot Run

- Welcome to Gainsborough! Today you are travelling on this Wright Streetlite on the 102 service connecting Park Springs, and once the service concludes we will speed straight back to the depot. Today we operate on a day with awful rainy dull waether conditions, a day where bus travel is more likely. Interlinked with the 101, this service offers an every 30 minute departure from Gainsborough Bus Station. This will be increased to an every 15 minutes interlinked service once Gainsborough 4 is released. The 102 service originally was one of the main services (numbered just 2) along with the 101 (1). This however changed in Gainsborough Phase 2, with the launch of the 100 operating Gainsborough to Saxily. Phase 3 saw an extension to Lincoln, and phase 4 will see further extensions (on the other end of the route) on the 100 making the route Scotter - Gainsborough - Lincoln. A lot to look forward to in the future!
This bus is a Wright Streetlite, this example being Cummins engined. They are not particuarly popular IRL due to their unreliability, poor build quality and uncomfort although I do think the interior mouldings look quite nice. I've not travelled on a Streetlite in 5 years thus I have no comment on what I think, although on my last time on a Streetlite water was leeking through the ceiling! Maybe Wright's poor build quality, or perhaps First's awful maintenance. First Scotland East has since been purchased by McGill's fairly recently. Not my favourite bus to drive on OMSI, in fact I only drive it on rare occurences, although I think it's nice when I do.
