Notice: Following the revelations of Edward Snowden, another IT specialist working at the Danish Defense Intelligence department discovered some anomalies related to telecommunication going through Denmark back in 2015 and notified management. This resulted in an internal investigation which showed that a lot of politicians, amongst others, were having their telecommunications surveilled. So it seems the Danish Defense Intelligence had a blind/naive trust in their American counterparts, at least initially. To my knowledge the surveillance was terminated, but who was then made aware of the embarrassing findings in the resulting report "Dunhammer" is not known at this point.
