Nice work Alex. Im thankful that the Block Blue light did well because mine just showed up from Hong Kong today! I actually got the really big one that measures 64"H x 16" wide.
What are thoughts on it now that you have been using it for 2 months?
I am looking for the link you mentioned about the 810 wave length research… I can’t find it.
Have you tested the Infraredi Flex Max Plus which has a new display and 300 LEDS? If so where would it be on this list or what would your take on it be? Also with a code it's much cheaper than most of these units if not 95% of them. Thank You
Thanks for the comparison video, Alex! Was looking forward to it. I got the BBL mega at the BF sale and happy with my choice that came in second. It’s a great panel!
Did they have good bf deals? 15 % discount with the code Alex, what was the bf deal?
I think they went to 20% off over the BF weekend,.
Great job! Wow! Awesome. Thanks for the long, hard work on this content! 🎉
Thank you!
Thank you for this, awesome video as always. Keep up the great work. Going from the infraredi to BBL massive difference in use & quality. BBL have been awesome!
Hey thanks for sharing this!
Fantastic video! Have been waiting for this and it did not disappoint. Thank you so much, Alex!
Thank you!
Solid review of multiple products. Keep up the great work, you made my research easy! I will use your link when I make my purchase.
Thank you :)
Platinum Biomax has no pulsing.. Iearned that pulsing is very important, so no #1 for me :)
Thank you for doing this video. I relatively new to red light therapy so I found this video incredibly helpful. I know this video would have taken a really long time to put together so I appreciate all the work you've put into this and I'm sure many other viewers will too! Best wishes, Ashley.
Thanks
Thanks so much I appreciate all your help and your in-depth research!
You are welcome. i hope it helps you.
Hi Alex thank you for the great and informative work! I do really appreciate the effort you put into providing all the information
Thank you :)
Impeccable review - your usual super high value content. Many thanks
Thanks so much!
Thank you! I skipped to end and then doubled back to listen to your science and reasoning! Lots of great info!
You're Welcome, glad you found it helpful.
Just received the block blue light Elite Xl panel super fast and its Amazing. The customers service is absolutely perfect and actually the international shipping was the Cheapest and Biomix was the most expensive from all other options. Even taxes were super low. Im so happy i took your advice and ordered from that company Alex, you are doing a great research for all of us and can be totally trusted. All I can do is thank you 🥰
awesome to hear it all went well, and thanks for sharing this. I'm sure others will benefit from your insights.
Amazing comparison - thanks so much. This has completely changed my purchasing decision to a brand that wasn't even on my radar. Many thanks.
Hey! Oh really, what brand are you considering now?
Thank you for this video. So well done!
Thank you
I’m new to wanting to purchase and your video is gold. Alex u deserve first place for reviewing this panels. Tx so much. I’m off to watch more to refine my decision, I’ve subscribed and liked ✅ now to learn more
Love this comparison.. it is soooo helpful.one would never know which to choose!! Thx for your amazing work 😊
No worries! What will you go with ?
@@AlexFergusdotcom honestly not sure .. Need to go through and weigh all out.. I do like the Rojo.. and do like joovy def not up to its hype. So many decisions!! But u simplify!! 👍🏻😊
Hey Alex! Just recently stumbled across your red light therapy videos. I have never tried RLT, but have recently stumbled on to it and have been researching. I’m 38 and have struggled with my skin since puberty. Prone to acne, occasional rashes, very oily skin, large pores, rosacea, hyperpigmentation… not severe at the moment, but definitely not where I want my skin to be. I had been researching the masks for skin, but have since heard of all the full body benefits RLT can bring to the table. Starting to feel a panel is the better option and tends to have a much better warranty. Part of me wants to go big or go home, but from a much more affordable standpoint, maybe start with a tabletop panel Lol. I would totally be your guinea pig for your research on skin!
Hey, sorry to hear about all the issues you have had. Check this video out - czcams.com/video/sYymkkfIVLY/video.html and maybe throw up a post in our FB group - facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders
Imagine standing in that room with all of the panels on at the same time. I would totally become the Hulk 🤣 (Love your videos!)
I don't need to imagine it... i've done it. I can tell you now the room got rather toasty after a few minutes of them all running.
The beginning music is exactly how it should be. Lol. Great job!!
Thanks!
Alex you helped me make a decision on the best device for me. I just ordered the Platinumled Biomax 900. I appreciate your many hours of testing, learning and relaying your knowledge to us. Thank you very much!
Enjoy!
How did you get the discount code? The link doesn’t work for me. Thanks!
@@erinbrinkman5268Hey - this is the link here - aferg.co/redled maybe try open it in another browser? Or turn off any ad blockers? Or click it and just wait a few moments for the discount pop up to appear?
Wow! Really great Alex, thank you. You put in the work for sure. I’m a Mito Red Light fan because they’re great and they’re local for me. Wonderful company 🎉
Glad you like them!
Hurry up! I want to buy!! haha solely waiting on THIS video!
2mins until it goes live :)
Great video! Thanks and will purchase one thru your code
Thank you and I appreciate the support.
Thank you for this video. I am just learning a little about red light therapy and this helped. Been looking at the Platinum Biomax for awhile now - still undecided as it is a lot of money for me. This video provided some very helpful info. I might wait to see if they branch out more into amber light therapy as I have heard it will help with Rosacea, which I have. Just wanted to say thanks. Take care.
Your Welcome! Read this blog on my website, it might give you some more insight on RLT and Rosacea. www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/what-light-therapy-is-best-for-rosacea/
Very informative, great vid if you are looking for your next purchase. Last category price was a bit of a farse, scoring the cheapest the highest! At least compare price by watts, energy output! All other comparisons were spot on though!!
Hey. Well I think price is the key objective here. And a good quality panel that comes in at a good price, will then move up the ladder. But still a terrible panel is going to be low on the overall standings anyway. I think it was the best way to score it. If I were to do a price per watts (which I have done in the past) then I'm putting more weighting on a panel that puts out a lot of watts. I.e. it's being scored twice - and a panel with a high power output will get an extra boost. The thing is, if someone doesn't care about the price, they can just see the standings before that round and make a decision from there. If they have a hard limit on price, they can rule out panels above that price and select the best of the panels that remain etc. I do thank you for the commend and feedback. I'm always trying to improve these videos. In previous videos I did have a value score, but dropped it for 2024 for the reasons outlined above.
Awesome job, Alex! I guess I made the right choice (very much based on your initial reviews) to get the Biomax units... five of them. I only received the two 900's so far and they are great. 450's come this week, and the 600 hopefully soon after. Using the two 900's side-by-side on a wheeled dual TV stand (it works perfectly and 1/3 of the price of the stand the companies sell), and the 600 between two 450's on the other side. Red Light heaven!
Wow that is going to be quite a setup!! And thank you for the support.
Looking forward to this. I want to place an order for a full-body set up.
Hopefully it helps with your decision making process.
Hi there- Thank you so much for this. It was super helpful because it's quite overwhelming! I need to choose a panel for my wellness and beauty business and this was invaluable. Such a great place to begin and to know what to look for. Thank you!
Glad I could help. Watch this video for a few more ideas:czcams.com/video/j0mTmkQm-G0/video.htmlsi=9qpWEMNHdVLZqPDq
Oh my gosh, THANK YOU!
Cant wait to see this. I’ve held off buying my next upgrade panels until watching this.
Hey, I appreciate your patience! Hopefully this video will provide the info you need.
Great content Alex. Thank you very much.
Me 2
Thank you for this!
My pleasure!
Great review! It's really confirmed my choice. Thank you!
Glad I could help! Who did you go for?
Refine 900
Hello Alex. Thank you so much for all your time putting this comparison together. Greatly appreciated. I am looking for the best panel mainly for "anti-aging" benefits. Which one would you recommend?
Than's again
Any of these panels would be great for “anti-aging” benefits. This is from my website, maybe it will help you. www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/tag/beauty/
I just got the Block Blue Elite XL 64"Hx16"W and it took 15 days from ordering to arrive. It was shipped from Hong Kong
Hey, how are you finding it?
Thank you for what appears to be ~ by a great margin ~ the most unbiased and detailed comparisons of all such videos/Blogs/reports on Red Light Therapy that I have yet "discovered".
I might be mistaken but i think you touched upon the Five Features Red Light Therapy Devices Should Have
#1 Emitted Light Frequency
#2 Power Density or Irradiance
#3 Dosage
#4 Treatment Coverage
#5 Electromagnetic Field Levels
I'm listening to another of your subsequent Video(s) as i write this comment, so I'm a tad distracted. It has been much work attempting to research and compare different products as there are (as well you know) so many technical details which are critical to have an effective treatment. YOUR VIDEOS ARE SUCH A VALUABLE RESOURCE as your videos have in-depth analyses....many of the more economically priced items which have ~ according to the comments on Amazon and other sites ~ have absolutely NO INSTRUCTIONS, no SAFETY equipment included and are purportedly very tippy or irritatingly LOUD. Kudos to you. Subbed. Thank you.
Thank you :)

Thank you :) a lot of energy went into this so I really do appreciate the kind words
He is given these by the companies to test. But he sure does take a lot of time to do these one by one testing. I saw him test soft mats compared to eachother. The one he tested had comparable light strength.
Yessss! So excited. Awesome vid!
Yay! Thank you!
I purchased 2 Lightpath LED Diesel XL Shorties because if your previous reviews. The warranty is 5 years. The customer service is outstanding. You can talk to the actually owner and ask questions. The y offered great pricing for a package deal so I paid considerably less.
Thanks for sharing this information.
Was waiting for this one 🙂
I hope you enjoy it :)
I did acquire the lightpath shortie and i absolutely love it and the customer service is amazing.
Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you!! ❤❤
You're welcome 😊
Thank you! 😊
You're welcome 😊
I’m just now seeing this video. I really like the simplicity of using smart panel on the Rojo so I don’t have to think about how I want to set the wavelengths. Since making this have you had a chance to look into whether these settings are accurate? So happy to have discovered you!
Stay tuned, Rojo Refine review video coming first week in May.
Hey Alex, thanks for all the time you put into this. I just ordered the Bio Max 900 by clicking on your link and the link with your name that came up on the website. They say there's a sale going on so the discount is not happening which is ok with me but I want to make sure you get your cut. Let me know if there's something else I need to do so you get paid let me know. Thanks Richard
Hey. Thanks for thinking of me. I don’t get a commission when there is a sale running but I appreciate the support. You do what is best for you - so take advantage of the sale!!
Alex - congrats on the completion of another comparison series! Two comments: the multi-chip discussion you missed a key benefit - the benefit is not just that you will generally have a better blend of light - but, in the case of the MitoPRO 1500X where there is a red and NIR chip under every lens, the benefit to the user is that you can make the ENTIRE PANEL red OR make the ENTIRE PANEL near infrared. The lack of gaps allows for better blend red only of NIR only (vs a single chip panel where NIR only mode is typically only ~50% of the lenses illuminated). Secondly, on the size category it really should've been LED count & SURFACE AREA not just width. All the best - Team Mito
Hey thanks for the comment.
Multi chip - yes fair point. I may have to start doing tests on Red vs NIR power output to help highlight features such as this
Size - I do explain my reasoning behind the scoring system in my upcoming extended version. But pretty much I personally value width over height. And if the panel has 300 LEDs plus it's wide = great coverage. If I have only one wide panel I can split my body into 4 quarters and treat each 1/4 at a time. With a thin tall panel it doesn't work as well. And if I get two wide panels and install them side by side, I then get a shoulder/shoulder setup. Or I can put one one top of the other and get a 6 foot x 1 foot setup. So i can do one half of the front of my body, then shuffle across and do the other half.
I know it may be subjective, but IMO the wider the panels are better size.
Also - if I measured using surface area, the wider panels would still come out on top. A 300 LED wide panel would have a higher surface area than a 300 LED tall panel. I just tested this myself. So I don't think the outcome for that round would be different anyway.
I always appreciate and welcome the feedback! So keep it coming, it's good for all to see.
@MitoRedLight I've been paying attention to Alex's reviews for a couple of years. I haven't bought one yet because I want a wide panel. I reached out to you before and you said you have no plans to offer one. I like your company, so that's disappointing.
@@JMSsssssss Thanks for the feedback. Our MitoPRO Mega X is 17 inches wide. Our MitoPRO+ Mega is 17 inches wide. Our MitoADAPT Mega is 20 inches wide. These are all XL panels with 600 LED lenses. As far as 300 LED lenses, we have our MitoMEGA (part of our Original 2.0 series) which is 12 inches wide.
For the PRO 1500s we went a bit narrower and longer because the most common piece of feedback we heard on our MitoMAX and MitoMEGA was "That panel is only 36 inches long, how can it be 'full body'". So the PRO 1500X is 43 inches long to give much better up and down coverage. We feel this is a superior size and shape for a full body panel to be used on the back of a door or in a floor stand. Best - Team Mito
I am considering the mitopro mega. Still comparing.
@@AlexFergusdotcomHi Alex, I was about to decide on Biomax 900 until I saw MitoRedLight’s comments on the dual chip point. I would think 300 red lights in a dual chip panel will be a lot more powerful than 150 red lights in an all red light mode. Am I thinking this wrong? Thank you!
Epic is an understatement! Thank you so much for your hours of analysis. You brought to my attention a brand that was not even on my radar but it is now. I am captivated by the Rojo Refine 900 with it's dosing mode/ individual wave adjustment/multi chip/ pulsing/stand included/multi wave/ app/ touch screen display. The only downside is the power output compared to BioMax 900 and BBL Mega. However, if I have interpreted it correctly I would have to be 12" away if using the BioMax 900 to get an even distribution of all wavelengths as they are weighted towards 660 and 850 where if I was using the Rojo I only need to be 6" away to get the same benefit ( accounting for the difference in power ) because I can set the wavelength parameters myself? Being closer to the panel means that you are deriving more of the power output so would the extra power of the Bio Max be a little irrelevant because to get the same distribution of wavelengths as Rojo you need to be further from the unit? Would the effect of the actual power output reaching you in both instances end up being the same accounting for the difference in distance to optimize the distribution of wavelengths? Or am I reading too much or not enough into it! Ha!
Hey, thanks :)
Yeah the Rojo is quite innovative!
Remember the power from the Rojo is still very good. I mean this would have been market leading 2 years ago. And for most users, they don't need the power intensities that are on offer.
And yeah - the further away from the panel the better the light blend. Rojo has better light blend out of the box - so you will see better blend closer to the panel. But it also has a nicer spread of due to a more balanced ratio of wavelengths (when compared to the biomax).
I hope this helps.
Solid video! This has definitely helped. Will you be doing an updated comparison later this year? I heard Joov might be launching a new panel with crazy power readings.
Hey thanks. i do these every 2 years. Joovv - oh that would be great if they did.
Very well done! Thank you!!!
Glad you liked it!
Hello Alex
Just came across your channel yesterday, and there's so much to learn here. I'm from West Africa, trying to set up a SPA. It's not been long since I heard about this Redlight Therapy stuff. I can see that there are different types of red lights. So I would love to know from you, between using Panels and Cabin, which is best for a SPA.
Chears
Hi Alex… I bought the Rojo 900 Refine after your review. I was so torn between Biomax and Rojo. I hope I made the right decision.
It's a great panel, I'm sure you will love it.
It's very nice that you are helping with all the technicalities, but I really would love to know the effects in your health... Have you noticed any changes that this companies claim? Thank you so much. Very interesting channel.
Have a look at this - czcams.com/video/7TYWriLoY2k/video.html and this - czcams.com/video/7A4QChe8mcQ/video.html
Thank you for sharing so much great information. I have a very important question. I have melasma, are any of these panels harmful for me? Any lights I should stay away from? Thank you!
Hey great q. I know there has bene a lot of information on this topic in our FB group - facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders/ - you may want to join that and do a search :)
Hey Alex, fantastic video! Really enjoyed watching it. I see Mega PowerPanel by Block Blue Light came 2nd. Would you say variation of panels from Block Blue Light, like the PowerPanel PRO and MAX, are just as great?
Hey thanks! Yes I would. Though I haven’t tested them so I may be wrong
Just wondering if you’ve compiled your results into a spreadsheet where all the specs can be viewed and compared?
Great video and thank you!

Hi. Can you include RedDot Led in your next review. Bryan Johnson uses this brand. And your blog also mentioned it. Good channel, really helpful.
Ok sure :)
Great review, thanks!
My critique is that you seem very biased for Plantinum LED. Likely because they sponsor you haha
I’m affiliated with most of these companies.
I actually get better commission from Companies other than PlatinumLed
Greta video! What’s the best SMALLER unit?
Here we go - czcams.com/video/sm8F5xe59Iw/video.html
Hi ~ thanks for all of this. Which one is good to put in our small infrared sauna? To handle heat and mid size panels?
Hey, check this out - czcams.com/video/nigv8ifMnuo/video.html
Thank you! Very informative. Thinking of just doing the panel if it gives the same benefit as a face mask but full body benefits as well. Makes sense. Question about face masks and EMF’s. Have you been able to test this by any chance and whether or not the amount they give off is significant? Thank you again…super thorough!
Glad it was helpful! Generally, the EMF is very low with masks and pads.
these reviews are great. i just started watching your channel. do you consider beam angle? one panel might be weaker at 6” but stronger at 2ft than another if it has a narrower beam angle
czcams.com/video/LMBmFH6-pB4/video.htmlsi=hIWTrWSRIHs8fJYM
Thank you for all the hard work you put in your video! After watching this video, do you still stand by or go to with the Biomox 900 set up? Or is there a panel that you like that is better than the Biomox
I have the Biomax as well… Love it! It’s built like a Ferrari, perfect engineering.
Hey, I mean I still use the Biomax - but at the same time the Rojo and BBL panels are really good - especially with more power/leds going to 810nm (which I personally like). I also like the LightPathLED panel because it's so much wider. MitoRed Light is unique with it's 590nm wavelength... they're all good haha!
Do you have a way of characterizing reliability and workmanship? I understand that the warranty duration and the length of time that the manufacturer has been in business are probably correlated with panel reliability.
I actually wanted to buy PlantiumLED Biomax. But with the stand and shipping I'm at 1580 euros to Germany.
I have now decided on Rojo light. 1047 euros incl. mobile holder. Some of the wavelengths are missing here, but as the first panel I think the price is more decisive.
Hey, Yeah the Biomax is great if you live in the US, But elsewhere it soon get's pricy. You may want to check this out - czcams.com/video/g8ntT433ImI/video.html
I purchased a Myochondria Mylight max before watching your video. Any opinions on it?
Wow, what a journey this review took me on! I recently got my hands on two PlatinumLED 900 panels and the results have been nothing short of amazing. The research phase was tough - there's so much out there to consider. But when this review pointed out the unique features like the availability of stands and the panel width, it was clear to me that the information was reliable and well-researched. It's like the moment your favorite team wins a big game - I'm off to celebrate with a beer now! If you're in the market for a red light panel, definitely consider PlatinumLED based on this comprehensive comparison.
Haha, I need to come join ya for a beer! Actually, just a cup of warm milk and a cookie while putting my feet up for a few hours would be nice! It's a big relief to get this video out. And I do appreciate your support and comments.
Hi, Alex- We have a large panel @ home that we really enjoy and I picked up, per one of your reviews, last year- Wondering if you have a suggestion as to which portable unit is the best bang for buck? Something that can be used to focus specifically on the sinuses, such as the "NOMORE COLDS" nasal red light??
Hey, Hmm, maybe this video will help - czcams.com/video/oDgHhZJVbsg/video.html
I hadn't heard of No More Colds - so I'll look into this, it looks unique!
You cold check out the Vielight MIP device - czcams.com/video/mDGHxr2T294/video.html
They have an intranasal device, and there is an option for a Blue LED which would be great for sinuses.
Thanks for all your hard work Alex. Super interesting. Happy with my BBL 3.0.
Thank you for the support!
Great Comparison on red Light Panels! Is there any Panel you can recommend for Europe?
Thank you, check this out - czcams.com/video/g8ntT433ImI/video.html
Great video! I'm considering Red light for full body while meditating. Do you think I need two of the BioMax 900 panels, one for front and one back? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
Ideally you treat both sides of the body. That doesn't mean you need two panels though - you can just turn around mid session, but that may not be an option if you're deep in meditation. I guess one session you could be front on, then the next session back on etc.
So much info! I’m trying to understand the benefits of all the wavelengths. I had great results with the UltraSlim which employs a 635mm wavelength. Which panel will best give me these results? Thank you!
Hey, check this out - www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/red-light-therapy-wavelengths-benefits/
Also - you can see what panels emit ~630nm light in this database of ours - products.lighttherapyinsiders.com/
Hey Alex! Awesome informative channel. I am looking to purchase a panel from Canada, and I am considering the Mitopro 750+ or MtioproX 750. I am new to red light therapy so we want to purchase something I can potentially add on to. I have looked at KALA as they are Canadian, but I have read some unsavoury customer service review so I am very reluctant...any specific advice would be super appreciated. I would likely buy a stand as well.
I have a review coming in May for the Kala Elite. The Mito panels are nice and you can add on. Maybe check out Block Blue Light, they ship to Canada and will reimburse any duties (please confirm with them though)
Alex, do you explain the irradiance of the red lights you've tested? what does "irradiance" mean exactly? What is the significance of "irradiance"? My understanding of Irradiance is the effect of mW/cm2 number is based on how close you need to be to the light panel to receive the most effect, and I've seen some panels listing their irradiance numbers at 1cm distance. So their irradiance number is high, but in order to have that effect you need to be 1cm away from the panel, and that's just too close for me! Please help me know if this understanding is correct. Thanks in advance!!
Excellent video! I've watched it in full and now can't find the section where you talk about cord length. It's not listed under specs of the top two on their websites. Would you mind time stamping it? Thank you
Not sure what panel you are referring to. You could email the company, and they could let you know the cord length.
Hi Alex. I wonder if you have a specific recommendation for me. I have had Long Covid for 2+ years, fatigue and digestive issues most prominent. I am 81 years old and live alone so I had a feeling I should get the panel that comes with a stand. I am open to any suggestions or ideas you might have. Thank you for the work you do!
Sorry to hear this. Look at this blog on my website, section “Infection Counteraction Benefits” there a few studies there that might help you decide. www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/red-light-therapy-wavelengths-benefits/
I think any of these might help but leaning toward a panel with a lot of NIR. Please consider joining my facebook group, someone in there might have first hand experience. facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders
Hello sir, I am very new to this and its is quite intresting, without any deep knowledge, understanding nor expierience in this filed I am completely dependent on your reviews, Personaly I am just wondering wich panel you recommend for someone who is vain and wants to not only take care of my face(smal ones?) but also wich one you recommend for an athlete in early 30. This is not my field yet i want to benefit. I Feel like a deaf guy askin questions in a music store. But I dont mind. I am facinated by your passion and knowlege! Greetings from sweden , god bless
Hey. If you are in Sweden - then consider buying from a local company. czcams.com/video/R3ZaAMZTSPw/video.html Then you probably just need a tabletop panel - you can see them all here - czcams.com/video/sm8F5xe59Iw/video.html but some of them are going to be expensive to get shipped to Sweden.
I know the manufacturers say you can’t mix panels and stands, but since you have them all, I was wondering: I like the Hooga panels, but I like that the Platinum mount rotates (nonmotorized). Would you be able to check to see if we could mount the Hooga panels to the PlatinumLED mount?
Don't believe it does, best bet is to email them Stands tend to be stand specific
Was going to purchase a Platinum LED Biomax but have been reading a lot of Bad Reviews about their customer service…. Now I’m on the fence about purchasing any Red Light…
Hey, check this video out - czcams.com/video/KOKTRA_9uLM/video.html and have a look at this post - facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders/posts/2600829503408585/
I have had excellent result with Vielight Neuro Gamma. I also have a wearable to irradiate blood vessels at wrist to activate methylene blue. Would buying a panel provide any additional benefits do you think?
Oh awesome, what sort of benefits have you seen? Ho are you using the Gamma? I'm testing the Duo at the moment, but I'm not sure how often I should use it.
Ohh and what wearable are you using?
Panel - I'm going to say yes you will see skin level benefits, and also benefits with joint health and muscle recovery.
This video is sooo useful. Thank you!
Can you also review the MyLight brand's RLT panels?
They have a 10-YEAR WARRANTY and supposedly 74 mw/cm² AT 20 INCHES, but you'd need to check that.
Thanks again for the stellar research and presentation!
Alex, I am leaning towards the Platinum model for my wellness center that I am opening in a few months. Space is limited and I would like the motorized stand. Do you know if the stand has a fold down option that the panel folds down when not in use for space considerations?
Congrats on opening a business. Check this out: czcams.com/video/6US32hF6msY/video.htmlsi=10-f8R6G1d0WLswA
Great video thanks! have you heard of a head/neck / shoulder multipurpose therapy wrap from redlighttherapykids? Based in WA, Australia. I am looking at it for treatment of muscular pain ( shoulder) + for skin benefits
Sorry, I have no experience with that company.
Alex, have you done a full review of the Rojo Refine 900 yet? Im trying to decide btw that and the BBL mega 4.0. Not sure what's better, higher power (87MW/cm vs 73 MW/cm for the Rojo,so I was wondering even if the ROJO has the function to preselect your own waveleght percentages, will they be as effective if the power is not as high? ( as the BBL panel)
Hey! It will be published on the first of May. But you can see a sneak peek review in my FB group here - facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders/posts/2629274057230796/
Just bought 4 panels of biomax 900. Thanks. By the way have you happened to check the Dermalux Triwave MD, which is the top of the line unit of Dermalux. I am actually using it in my clinic
Hey! Nice, you will have a great setup. No I have only played around with the Flex - czcams.com/video/yWgWWQl7fuE/video.html
Just purchased the Powerpanel-mega. Hope it is on the top of the list:). Thanks for all the info.
Thats a great panel.
Thank you sir for all your hard work and the discount code!
You get what you pay for with most red light panels; there are exceptions where they have a high price for no reason. I have 2 panels from China (top US brand) and 4 direct from suppliers in the US (2 Joove, unfortunately). I have two Mito red and just ordered a body Hooga Ultra. I may replace the two Joove.
In most cases you do get what you pay for. As you know, some good deals are out there if you're comfortable buying directly from China.
What devise would you recommend for plantar fasciitus and related achilles tendinitis?
Any panel that puts out 660 and 850nm
Very good review.
The problem is with block blue light is that it’s too expensive to buy in the EU. You’ll have to pay in import tax because it’s shipped from UK….. and that is very expensive!
Yes, the taxes and additional fees can really add up. Have you seen either of these videos for the EU consumer:czcams.com/video/g8ntT433ImI/video.htmlsi=CHzI6YGbY2c7jcOOczcams.com/video/R3ZaAMZTSPw/video.htmlsi=gt9KIYT_sgWigyQ_
Hi Alex. I would like to get red light therapy for underneath the bottom half of my big toe (a swelled, injured tendon/sheath), a very small area the size of a penny. Would you recommend a hand held or wand type of device? With so many products on the market, can you recommend a few top companies or brands to consider or what to buy? I am hoping I can get a quality product for less than $300. I appreciate any help you can provide because I am eager to get started.
Panel might be tough for that area. Hooga Health has a torch that might work. LightpathLED LED also has a torch; czcams.com/video/OXTdY2MZT8U/video.htmlsi=8A1GcLyuWJOPQHhn
I have an Ultralux health red max panel. Have you reviewed it? Thank you
Hey Alex - Thank you for all your hard work in testing 17 panels - phew!!! I have been waiting for this review because I this will be my first panel purchase. I always thought it would be between the MitoProX 1500 and BioMax 900, but after your review now Rojo is in the mix! My concern is the newness of this company and lack of independent lab testing, but then again, BioMax doesn't publish independent lab testing either! Should I be concerned?
I was leaning to the biomax 900 also but now I'm leaning to the rojo. I need to make a decision. I guess I'm not sure if I want to have the 1060 on all of the time.
I just got two Biomax 900 and absolutely love them… Poweful!
Congratulations David on your purchases! @@dminzie
Hey! All of these top companies are great. As for the testing data - you can just watch my reviews and see what the numbers are. I included it to help get some transparency into the industry - as some companies are coming out with outlandish claims.
Also, though Rojo is new, the founders are good folk and have ties to SunStream Saunas (a big company that has been around for a decade now - I have 2 of their saunas and they are great).
Do you recommend, or know, of any red light therapy for Multiple Sclerosis?

I'm sorry to hear this. Any of the top 10 panels would be helpful. However, do consider joining my Facebook page; other members there will share their experiences. facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders. Do you have a video for the best red light therapy devices for those based in the UK taking into consideration shipment cost, import tax, warranty etc?
Have you seen this one? Might have some options: czcams.com/video/R3ZaAMZTSPw/video.htmlsi=CY_UVpYIQXJZpCye
Can you review Kalaredlighttherapy and Infraredi red light therapy devices. I live in Canada and these are both reasonably priced.
Hey, stay tuned to the channel. I have reviews on products from these companies due out soon :) You can also check this out - czcams.com/video/a6c6EZ1FgUM/video.html
What do you think is the best panel for sciatica? Is a BELT better? Thanks!
Hmm, no a panel should work well here - better penetration.
You could also see what others are doing by asking in our FB group - facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders/
Alright Alex I just bought the Platinum LED you got my trust
Enjoy :)
And the biomax 900 I understand that you can turn off the blue light. Can you turn off the 1060? Can you adjust the amount of the other wavelengths like you can on the rojo?
No. The 1060 is linked to all the NIR wavelengths. Only Rojo has this unique feature
For knee pain, which is the one that would you use?
Check out this article on my website:www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/red-light-therapy-for-knee/
What is better IDOO lightting 1500 or Mitro Pro 300 (from 2023). Could you make a video about table panels 2024?
I do need to do an updated table top video.
