Can we appreciate that she answerers all the comments x
I try :)
This is what I need! It's like you're posting all the stuff I'll be doing when I get to London. Love love love your travel guide as well!
😈😈😈😈😈 haha love it. And I'm so glad you like the guide! Thank you so much Elizabeth.
We’re visiting London and Paris in less than 3 weeks!! Been watching a lot of your vlogs, very informative! Thank you so much 🙏🏾
You're welcome! Have a great time. Be sure to check out my 48 hours guide to Paris too! czcams.com/video/yPu0c_6d2cI/video.html&t
Eurostar offers 3 classes of services: Standard, Standard Premier and Business Premier. All comfortable but different conditions, and prices for each of them.
Is best to get to the check-in area at least 1 hour prior departure time.
I love Eurostar.
Thank you for your 2 tips that were not mentioned in the video. THANK YOU!
How much for eurostar
Train?
@@ley7367 The key is to book in advance, a return in Standard can be £69 but not at last minute as those seats are not many and sold out.
A return to Paris in Business Premier, the nicest and the higher class on Eurostar is always £550
@@bravolondon can you please share a link to book tickets from?
@@sabashahverdi4096Pretty much it should be on the Eurostar website
one of my favourite places in London and not just because I usually stay within a 5-10 minute walk from this station - such an easy jumping off point with the library and British museum nearby, but also Camden and its markets, great pubs and restaurants, and easy to get on the tube with.a few lines connecting at Kings Cross. Hoping to get back to London in December after a sojourn across the Pacific to Japan in September - please keep up the great content and inspiring us all to visit the greatest city on the planet
Thanks so much for watching!
Outstanding video, I’ve been watching travel vids and travelling for over a decade and vids like this are exceptional as it gives some travellers a practice run and puts a lot at ease when they see how easy it could be.. 👊🏽🙏🏽👍🏼🏴
So easy! Thanks for taking me through the London to Paris Eurostar trip in 5 steps!
You're welcome, Julie, thanks for watching!
It's the best feeling ever going from city centre to city centre!! 😎
Thanks - I just booked Paris to London. Nice to get a "look" at the process.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it Evelyn, thanks for watching :)
I was on 7:01 train on the 10th March, I totally agree train to Paris is so much easier and convenient than plane. Scan the ticket, security check, passport control and to the train only took me 25 mins.
Start my journey from Leicester 4:39 EMT to St Pancras arrived 6:20 and just so convenient. Staff was very helpful and train was clean, great experience overall. Same day back picking up my motorcycle near Paris via Euro tunnel Le Shuttle from Calais and 35 mins later back to England.
I totally agree what you said in your Vlog
Nice. Thanks for watching Jaswinder!
Hello will you pls tell me us there any limitations for luggage?
I love how easy it is to visit Paris from London thanks to the Eurostar! Would love to go again this year! 😍
Ugh it's so easy and comfy. Thanks for watching Daniela.
I'm going end of April and can't wait. This is gonna be fun!
Great ❤️❤️
Thanks so much for this video. It will be my first time traveling to Europe in late September, and I will be going to Nice after visiting London. I just booked my Eurostar tickets. So excited.
Have fun
Thanks for sharing doing it for the first time in a couple of weeks, looks nice and easy.
It is. Have a great trip!
Hi Jess. Thank you for highlighting the hotel you stayed. Love it. Seems so easy travelling from London to Paris by train. Wonderful and informative vid.
💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐❤️👍
Thanks for watching!
Great video with lots of valuable information. Thank you!
Thank you. I will be going to London Next year in May and also Paris I was thinking to buy a plane ticket but this train looks so good and fast
Hello There, this is a really useful and informative Guide, there are three types of class, two types of economy class, Standard, Standard Premier and Business Premier. Thank you for sharing this, it's much appreciated. Cheers Peter :)
Thank you so much for your helpful video. I'll be in London in April taking the Eurostar to Paris. You couldn't made my journey any easier I'll know what to expect.
Merci beaucoup!😉
You're very welcome ❤️❤️
I also agree beyond passport control is not very exciting; just keep an eye out on any queue. I’ve travelled both Business and Standard. Whilst the meal might be nice not convinced it’s worth the increase. Standard is comparatively comfortable
Take care Poppet In These Troubled Times... Think Ahead Jess And Stay Safe... xx
I'm doing this next month, collecting all the information for our travel. Looks like a easy trip, I'm excited
Definitely easy. Enjoy it
Looks pretty easy to get on the Eurostar. We're looking forward to getting on it for our 24 hour London trip next summer.
Just took the 10:22 this past Sunday for the first time. I arrived at St. Pancras far too early. Good to note there is a small sign that informs you when to queue. They wont let you line up early to get through the passport checkpoint (I tried and failed). Watching for the sign with your departure time on it is key. They will not depart until everyone is on the train, so no need to sweat security. They will expedite your passage through security if you are running late. I watched as they aided a few people who were scheduled to depart on the train before mine. (Thanks for the vids. They were quite useful during my stay in London. Heading back there this week. Have to find me a wifey, job, Irish passport or any combination of the three so I can stay. I like me some London. Gotta get out of SCAMerica.)
Glad you enjoyed the video Marty, thanks so much for your input. Enjoy your visit.
Hi Marty. Could you please tell me how long the passport control takes in Paris Gare du Nord? Many thanks.
Great post! Simple and sweet! No over-explanation.
Glad you enjoyed it Joel, thank you!
Going on sunday so excited
Love this video. Very informative I’m planning a London/Paris Trip gonna def take this Train.
Glad to hear it, thanks for watching!
Couple of add-on suggestions - listen to folks playing the piano in the departure lounge before passport control (or try yourself !). If St Pancras Renaissance is too expensive, the Premier Inn St Pancras is literally across the road, the air con works (!) and convenient to drop bags if arriving early or leaving late. Also (unlike many other rail fares) return tickets in Eurostar are cheaper than 2 singles.
Thanks for watching Richard! Actually the ticket price this isn't correct just FYI
we thinking about take for go Paris Disneyland family journey
Not correct Richard. E* prices on a one-way basis. Return fares are simply twice the one-way price.
@@alexmcwhirter6611 Actually a discount is applied to both tickets if you buy both at the same time, which is a weird way of doing a "return" fare but that's what they do. If you go on Eurostar and test it out, you'll see a return is usually about £20 cheaper overall!
@@jamiestone1809 OK. I wasn't aware. What must be noted is that Eurostar considers itself more as a (reputable) airline rather than a humble train firm. Hence the product it offers differs from that of regular train firms. Now that Eurostar has merged with Thalys it remains to be seen if any changes will be made to either firms' product.
I love your channel. It is so helpful. Thank you!
Thanks so much!
Great video and it looks quite easy with hardly any hassle. I can see myself doing it in the future.
very easy indeed. Thanks for watching Juan!
Heading to Paris & London in about a week. Taking granddaughter as her graduation gift from 8th grade. Taking Eurostar from Paris to London. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the video.
Have a lovely time ♥️
It's a very beautifull station pass through their many a time to cut through to South coast uk safe journeys 🎈🇬🇧
Great video Jess, doing the exact same journey to watch the tennis in June, hopefully a very smooth experience like yours ☺️
Nice! Thanks for watching.
I like how you was straight to the point. Didn’t fill the video with irrelevant comment just to puff out the time.
Glad you enjoyed it Roy!
Wow! That's cool 😎 thanks for sharing. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! I have clients looking to do this and I may do it myself as well.
I love the Eurostar so much, I haven't been on it since I was a younger child but have always had the ambition to go again. The last time I travelled on it I was in the Business Premier seats but on the old model of Eurostar, hence I'm excited to experience the newer version hopefully this Weeknd if all things go to plan. Wish me luck. Thanks for the video.
We actually have a video coming out in two weeks taht will show all three classes in the Eurostar :) Thanks for watching!
@@loveandlondonSo just one question, did you fly to London and book a flight and hotel package or booked the flight snd overnight hotel stay separate?
Absolutely PERFECT video here, thanks so much! Travelling London > Paris via the Eurostar for the first time tomorrow. Nice touch putting the addresses for London St Pancras and Paris Gare Du Nord in text on screen, will help with Google Maps/Uber 🙏
Hope you enjoyed!
Super helpful and informative, thank you!
You're welcome, thanks for watching.
Super grateful to have this helpful little video of the step-by-step process of the journey from London to Paris on the euro star. I was really nervous to take this trip since I’m traveling alone and have never taken the euro star before. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this video, I feel a lot more at ease about my trip now.
you're so welcome! Honestly there's no need to be worried it's super simple and I think you'll like it :)
Same here! Thank you so much! I wonder what to take to get from that station to the Eiffel Tower 😂 - I’m praying for us both lol
I agree.. if the info was actually accurate. Disappointed that I trusted her information which was wrong. Hope you were not caught out yourself
Thank you so much for making this !!!!
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Perfect video. Can;t wait to get back to London
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it Dave.
I love the Eurostar. An Uber takes about 15 minutes from my house to St. Pancras and then 2.5 hours later I'm in the centre of Paris or Brussels.
It's great isn't it. Much better and quicker than flying.
Ohhh, I'm just about to move to London and when I earn my first salary, that's what I'm going to do! Thank you so much for all your tips!!!
Thanks for watching!
Always loved that moment, when you’re coming out of the tunnel and you’re in France! Just like that indeed 😊
right?! Thanks so much for watching.
London it's my dream place
Loved the Eurostar.
Same!
Thank you for this video I did not know you can take a train from London to Paris.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love London although it was long time ago experience. Hope to visit London again
great ♥️
It's about the way I remembered it, when I took the train to Paris years ago. Your train did look newer. On the way back, I did take a plane from Paris to Heathrow and then to LAX. For the round trip flight I had, I had to go thru Heathrow on the way back. Taking a plane from CDG made more sense, than doing a Paris -> Eurostar -> and then to the airport on the same day. Good video.
Thanks for watching!
@@loveandlondon Thanks again.
This is so helpful for my anxious little heart as I plan my trip to London & Paris in the fall!! Question - have you been to York? We're thinking of taking a quick side trip there and would love any tips or suggestions you may have!
Glad you found it helpful Sara! I haven't been to York, no. I usually recommend skipping day trips out of London if there for less than a week FYI because there is SOOOOO much to do in London.
(Late reply) but I’m also going Paris in the fall and I’m a very anxious person and I’ve watched this video many times and definitely helpful! I hope your trip went/ goes well! 🌸
This helped me a lot cuz I'll be going on the eurostar to Paris in October for the first time
Me too! Have a good trip! 🌸
@@sophieanne2913 You too 😁

Amazing. Thanks for sharing. 🙏
Thanks for watching ❤️❤️
Well done, thank you.
Thanks for watching
Oh the Eurostar, the train was very nice and the ride was very quick and smooth. I took the business class on the reverse route of yours Jess (Paris to London). For me the process was like at the airport. Great video overall Jess.
Thanks for watching Jason!
But much quicker in my opinion
Hey Jess. My hubs and I are doing this amazing trip on the Eurostar this summer. Is the passport control in the departure area? Does it take long to get through? Merci (see, I'm practicing my French lol)
Hi Rhonda! Yes exactly. It doesn't usually take too long to get through but plan a bit of extra time in the summer when it will be busy. 50 mins should be sufficient.
Excellent 👍🏼😊
I've taken Eurostar a couple times, to Paris and Brussels - and it was a very pleasant and hassle free experience. I was hoping I could go back to Brussels this year but like most people I think I'm feeling hesitant because of the war going on in the Eastern part of Europe
Hi Evan, yes it's a great experience! Ah I've not heard of anyone being nervous about traveling around here because of the war but everyone is different I guess. You can watch my travel content in the meantime. Thanks for watching!
You're perfectly safe in any NATO country. Because if Russia attacks a NATO country, chances are WWIII will happen and it'll be end of the world. Basically you're just as safe in France or Belgium as you would be in the US or Canada.
Hi Evan could you please tell me how much it takes for the passport control once you're in Paris at Gare du Nord? Many thanks
Hey Christian, passport control is actually done in St. Pancras station in London so when you get to Paris or Brussels all you have to do is get off the train, go outside and enjoy the city!
@@evancortez2 thank you kindly for your replay. Such great news. Best regards
Nice train
Thank you
Great video. Nice and succinct.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much David!
Love to go to london to paris
How cool to stay right in St. Pancras! I've traveled the Eurostar several times, both to London and from London, and never realized that. Learn something new every day . . .
I love the Eurostar service. Easy, timely and speedy. 🚄
Thanks for sharing, Jess. Off to watch your 48 hours in Paris! 🥐🥖
It's relatively easy isn't it? And more comfortable than flying. Have you seen my video showing the hotel? It's here: czcams.com/video/lX7B2gftFK4/video.html&t thanks so much for watching Lori, appreciate it!
THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO DO IT ...NO NEED TO FLY !!!!! WOOOO HOOOOOO
awesome informative video. from what i understand, the only stations to take for this trips are St Pancras and Gare Du Nord. I believe there are no other stations in each city that make the international journey
That's true for London but I don't think it is for Paris, other stations have trains that go to other countries ! :) Thanks for watching!
I am glad I saw this video. I am due to ride to Eurostar in a few weeks, from Paris to London (and back). I am told the stations and trains get very crowded. Nevertheless, seeing this video eases my anxiety a little. I never took a train between two different countries outside of the U.S.
The trains don't get overcrowded as everyone has an assigned seat so you don't have to worry about that. Stations can be busy depending on when you travel but not a huge deal. Glad that the video helped, that's exactly why we made it :) ♥️
@Noah Maddox always best to get that kind of info directly from the governments’ website. Info changes frequently. I just came to france yesterday and needed vaccination proof (2 doses plus booster) to board the plane and ahead of time I filled in the government locator form online on the government of france website.
Wow. This is the travel i wanna go. From NorCal to UK then to Paris then Switzerland then Italy. Via their train system.
❤️❤️❤️
Hi Jess. Thanks for a great video. Quick question, how safe is to leave the luggage at the designated area, I’m afraid that someone may pick up before me upon arrival. Thanks again.
Very safe. Especially if going to Paris, there are no stops in between so no one can do anything with your bag anyways. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your video, me and my wife will go to London and Paris next month from Vancouver. I’m so exiting now. Like and Share your CZcams channel👍
Glad you found it helpful, thanks for watching Siu!
On my very first visit to the UK in 2014 whilst in London I decided to pop over to Paris for the day, as I thought I may never have another opportunity to see to Paris. (I have since been a number of times) The Eurostar was super simple - centre of London to centre of Paris. Left St Pancras about 0630 and returned from Gard Du Nord about 2030. A couple of years later I did the same with a day trip to Brussels.
I have since been on the Eurostar a number of times. One tip: pre-purchase your economy ticket online well in advance to get the cheapest price - then on the day of travel ask person in charge on the train about the cost of an upgrade to business. The ticket cost was money spent before your holiday and so the upgrade cost is the only cost on your holiday. I have been lucky with the upgrade cost being not much more than it would cost to buy food on the train.
I want to try this
since Business Premier would cost us $1200 more than standard to purchase outright but Eurostar says on their website that they are unable to upgrade to Business Premier at the ticket office in their FAQ :(
@@jmxtwiztid1 Sorry!! I made a mistake. My upgrade was from Standard to Standard Premier - not to Business. It was still a good upgrade as it included food and more space. The principle of having paid for the original seat months before leaving home and only a small cost from one's holiday money still holds true. Business is still out of my reach costwise!
@aussiebloke51 no worries, I appreciate the info as it helps us who are looking to book for the first time. It's $400 round trip for us to upgrade to Standard Premier but now we might just book standard and try our luck at the gate. Thank you!
Hello! Just recently found your page as I'm trying to plan a 17 day trip to London and thinking about making a quick trip to Paris. How is Eurostar in terms of luggage safety? Is that something to be worried about? I will for sure have a 23kg luggage with me. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Hi! You might have spotted the luggage rack in the video. It's very safe. Plus it's just one stop to Paris so no one can make off with your bag.
Hey once again! Thank you for a very cool video! Part of my upcoming travel plan to Europe is to travel on the Eurostar from London to Paris so it's so cool that you showcased this method of travel from city to city! I'm more excited I think to ride the train than to fly LOL. When you get to Paris, do you have to go through customs or passport check again or is that taken care of in London and vice versa? Thank you for another great video and I enjoy your vey informative e-mails as well!!! Be safe and Cheers!
I’m sure passport checks for both countries are done at the departure station. When you arrive at your destination you just walk off the train ready to explore.😊
Oh yeah the train is much more fun and chill than flying I much prefer it. Passport control is in departures so when you get off at your destination you're good to go. Thanks for watching!
@@loveandlondon Thank u much!
@@caromurray6152 Since Brexit came into force on 1 February 2020, your passport will be checked twice at St Pancras (by both the British and French police) but not when you arrive in Paris.
@@francinesicard464 So much easier to move from the UK to Europe without the wretched Brexit buggering up everything!
Nice video !
Thanks for watching!
Hi from LI, Jess! Love how you still have your LI accent!! Going to London in a month w my kids and we plan to do 1 day in Paris (already got Eurostar Tix). Does immigration take long going back and forth? We'll try to maximize our day there but won't go too crazy. Love your channel! Thanks so much!
Hey! It depends, sometimes it's 10 mins, sometimes it's 45. Honestly if you're going to do Paris do at least overnight, one day is 5+ hours on the train plus time at the station/immigration so it's not really worth it, as Paris is big and you'll not get to see very much.
Thank you for this video.
I have a question though, how’s the pressure changing inside the train? Is it like being in a plane or like diving or different? 😅😅
(First time in anything underwater)
Hey girl great video! What about luggage? Do you have to pai extra when buying the ticket? Thanks!
All tickets include one large bag (at least at the time I bought these tickets but of course double check when you buy yours!)
Great video :) Did you have to take a COVID test or provide certification when taking the train into Paris?
This was filmed a few months ago so things I'm sure have changed.
Hi renellem did you ever find out if a covid test is essential for travelling to Paris on the Eurostar?
I’m traveling there today and the Website says there’s no need for COVID test at this time.
Amazing video, Im planning to interrail around Europe in August and I'm wondering what is the latest time you think that you should arrive before the train leaves as I am flying into London at 9 and have to make the 11:05 train for Amsterdam and I'd say I could make it 1hr to a half an hour before departure but I'm afraid that might be too late any tips.
60 minutes is usually more than sufficient unless it's a peak travel time then you might need slightly more.
Thanks for an informative video. And now I must ask, two years on, where you got the black lace up boots you're wearing. I love the turned down cuff, too, if my eyes are deceiving me. I have some Doc's 1460s but wonder if they'd be too stiff for walking all over the place. Thanks in advance!
Jess said they're from Wills Vegan Shoes :)
Hi! This is a really good video!
Can I know how long the passport control into and out from the station?
Thanks! Border control and security generally takes 30 mins or less, but give yourself more time during peak travel times.
Have you done Brussels by Eurostar, Jess?! Even shorter, 2 hours 10 mins, and Brussels is wonderfully underrated.
yes! Thanks for watching Niall.
Beautiful content!! Is it better to purchase your ticket here at home in the United States or wait until arrival in London? I read that the price of a one way ticket is $61
No no definitely book as early as you can as prices go up! Thanks for watching
thanks for this video. We are planning on taking Eurostar from London to Paris . Plan quick view of a few tourist spots and if time permits Disneyland Paris. Question - must we purchase ticket to and from in advance or can we purchase them day of our trip
100% purchase as far in advance as possible. The pricing is dynamic so as availability goes down, prices go up (a lot). There's a link in the description box of the video with where you can book tickets!
Love your video. Could you please tell me, of course roughly, how much time you spend at the Passport control and check in? Much appreciated!
Giving yourself 45 mins will be plenty of time unless traveling at peak times (summer holidays, xmas)
@@loveandlondon you got me. Yes I planned my trip in late July. Thank you for your reply. Have a lovely week ahead. And Happy Easter.
Love the video, we are flying to Paris this weekend. Do you need COVID test to go to London and back?
Only if you aren’t fully vaxxed, which includes a booster shot within 9 months of your original 2nd vaccine.
Things can change quickly so it's really important you check on this yourself. All info is found on gov.uk website.
Are unvaccinated do you also require compelling reason from London to UK? Thanks ☺️
@@sademorel1685 What do you mean "From London to UK"? London is IN the UK!
But there's lots of great shopping & places to eat & drink in the main St Pancras Station itself if you have time

You can get into the Premier Lounge with an American Express Platinum, although I found out they wouldn't let me in with a business plat, personal only they said.
Good to know about the personal/business thing! Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the videos. Love them. Finding conflicting information. Can I purchase Navigo Easy passes in the Cafe Metropole on the Eurostar?
Don't know what that is!
@@loveandlondon Navigo Easy is like the Oyster card in London for using the Metro in Paris. But, I guess that answers my question. 😂
Do they cross check the names on the tickets to your passports? I’ve just booked my tickets on Trainline and accidentally put my name on both the tickets! So so so careless! 😣
Thanks in advance!

Hi am travelling to Paris on 31st may for the first time
So, where is everyone? How did you just walk through without queuing? Usually there are thousands of people there!
Not that day!
How was wifi ? I need to work with some meeting during this travel. I loved your video !
It's really not great. Sometimes doesn't connect and definitely not strong enough for calls. Thanks for watching!
@@loveandlondon wish I knew it. Bad planning on my side. I had to call it a day lol :)
I'am planing to use the Eurostar to get back from London to Germany this year. But I have a longer stop in Paris before switching to an TGV for the trip to Stuttgart. So, i'am asking myself, if I can use the Eurostar Lounge in Paris after arriving there, when booking the Business rate?
I believe so!
Is a day trip London to Paris plausible and worthwhile?
I mean leave really early and return late eve. Just to check out I- Tower walk about a little
No I wouldn't recommend it. It's 5 hours on a train in a day, plus if there are delays then it cuts into your day and Paris isn't small!
How much is the train ticket? Eurorail. Can i use it all over Europe? Im just visiting 5 countries however i want to fly as well between [countries]. Your advice?? Thank you 4 such a great video❤
You're thinking of the Eurail pass!
Is there an immigration in Paris again ? We need to get down and travel to Paris Gare d'Austerlitz and take another train in an hour. Wondering if that will be sufficient time. Thanks in advance for taking time make these videos and answering questions!
Nope! Thanks for watching
Explain the passport check you mentioned. Also do get seat assignments or pick seats on-board?
Not even a "please"? 😂 Passport check is just like any border you would cross anywhere else. Seats are assigned ahead of time.
Wow Eurostar seems like a pretty good way of traveling around Europe… Planning to go Europe next Summer maybe London >> Paris >> Brussels ( for Tomorrowland!) >> Amsterdam
Love the Eurostar, easy experience plus it's better for the environment than flying!
