To Take the Black - The Sword (Clone Hero chart, Expert Guitar & Bass)

A galloping Heavy Metal behemoth by The Sword, part of a follow-up band themed pack I charted around June 2021. The Sword 02 features three songs from three different albums by the band, spanning a selection of the band's different musical styles from the Heavy Metal early on to the Hard Rock towards the end of their career.

Easily my favourite track on this album and one I wanted to play a (good) chart of in Guitar Hero for years. Several fantastic HOPO riffs, fun chord sequences, great soloing and generally just an awesome song. It's a shame I couldn't use the remastered audio that enhances certain guitar and synth sections throughout but I still think I did a bang up job with this one and would definitely recommend it to fans of good Metal charts.
