  • Do the side mirrors on your Pajero / Shogun / Montero wobble like crazy, especially on bumpy roads? It's not only annoying, it's unsafe as you can't see clearly what's behind you!
In this quick video I show you how to fix the problem in about two minutes, WITHOUT REMOVING the mirror glass!
If you do however decide want to remove the mirror glass for better access, you can find the instructions in the online service manual:
mmc-manuals.ru/manuals/pajero_... and then navigate to: Section 51 | OUTSIDE MIRROR | OUTSIDE MIRROR | OUTSIDE MIRROR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

I have a 2012 petrol 3.5L Pajero. Since I bought it 2 years ago I've had this very issue. The dealer told me there's nothing to do (aside from replacing the mirrors), and so did a couple of workshops. So I'd been dealing with this nuisance until I saw your video. Thank you so much!

Glad it was helpful! I found after this that the mirror glass can be fairly easily prised off, and that might make it easier to adjust those springs. Good luck!

There are a few things about the Paj that really bothers me and this is definitely one of them! Me and my dad's pajero does the same thing.
Both also have the Rattle in the gear stick plastic cover thing.
Both easy fixes but you'd think mitsi would iron out these problems eventually? Dads model is 2020 but alas, still all the same gremlins

Yeah I agree, I think they hit about 2016 and stopped developing it past tweaks to the infotainment system, presumably while they worked out if the model was going to continue. Good idea! This is my first 4WD so I don't have a lot to compare it with but i could give it a crack. Thanks for the idea!
