I'm more anticipated about the regions more than the character. New Federation, Black Shores, and Rinas (the land where echoes can talk); I can't wait to see what kind of places they are. For Camellya, I think she'll be there when we go to Black Shore in the story. And for the Fractsidus, I feel like Kuro will take their time to release them, the same way they did in PGR (Luna and Roland). (One weakness gun users have is that they can't parry attacks :v) (I agree with gunners utilizing more weapons than just guns. My suggestion is that gunners would use their other gun as heavy attack, instead of aiming. Just imagine!)
i love the guns, i use chixia mostly but the charge and aerial attacks feel extremely bad imo. i feel like gun should get something closer to an actual charge attack/heavy and make the aiming something different, its only useful for puzzles. no one uses aiming in combat lol, except when you accidentally press it and it feels horrible. also give them a plunge attack lol. other than that guns are extremely fun imo.
I think Geshu Lin could also be fusion because the animation mentions black flames if I remember correctly. Not sure though. But yeah, Geshu Lin, Phrolova, and Scar are my most awaited.
I heard a theory about Scar and Geshu possibly being the same person - I dont think that makes sense because their personalities are so different. But if Geshu's personality/soul was somehow fractured and Scar is like a manic portion of it - then I could see Scar being Fusion and Geshu being Havoc and together that represents the "black flames"
Man I really wish Camellya was a sub-dps/healer that could synergize with Geshu lin - cause I'm in the same boat. I really want both and struggle to justify Camellya if she is also a dps.
I hope they add some characters from PGR, not make them 1:1, but i would love to see them take some inspiration from Bianca: Stigmata, Alisa: Echo and Watanabe: Epitaph.
13:41 Implementing something like a rifle has some problems. Because character and weapons are independent from each other so than if you design a limited rifle that has to be usable by any gun character. The other way to implement this would be a character that can convert a pistol into a rifle somehow in his animation and mechanics. The second option seams to me way more easy to implement and more realistic.
For Geshu lin, i think there is a possibility that he will be a fire character because it is stated that he uses "black flames" in the story. Also, in pgr, (and even few characters in wuwa) elements don't necessarily need to match the colors of the said element, like Lee in pgr (Blue flames) and Yuanwu in wuwa (blue lightning)
Personally I don't anticipate anything and just roll with it. I liked the story in 1.0 already and didn't really felt that heavy infodumping that others did, while 1.1 story was a slight upgrade that answered questions. If the story doesn't fall into the same formulaic genshin "go here and solve the problem to go there and solve the problem" then I'm already okay with it. It's obvious we will go to places to solve problems here as well, but with the story actually centering around our MC, the plot goes more along the line of "we go there to know more about us and on the side solve the problem". I wouldn't really like it if the story and map design would turn into the Genshin style playground one just because it worked there, hopefully they take a different approach and the plot progression will be more PGR than Genshin. I would say that Wuwa also solved one of my problem with Genshin's map design, which was that how is that every country is literally just a city and a few small villages? And even the cities were on the smaller side. Even for a fantasy setting, it didn't made much sense besides wanting the game to be plot driven and focused and for that, they wanted smaller countries focusing around the plot. Compared to that, in Wuwa we already know Jinzhou is just the edge of Huanglong, we already know at least 2 other city names and there will be a capital. Outside this, what I really like is the scale. Jinzhou, despite being a border city is big. Like really big and complex and actually the layout works as a fortress. Makes you imagine what kind of size and layout the capital will get. As for character design... I take whatever we get. I was okay with Genshin's as well, nothing outstanding but nothing bad either. Although seeing Wuwa and Genshin models beside each other makes Genshin really jarring and the models aged like milk for sure. I don't have high expectations, make me manly man and make womanly woman, which we know will get thanks to existing characters and PGR background. What we have so far for 5 stars, I like all of their designs. Which is good, because hey more cool character and bad, because you want all of them.
I’m waiting on Camilla especially because she is rumored to be a havoc rectifyer. I think chances are really high that she will be either a Yinlin type sub DPS or a Chanli type duo DPS character and therefore will work great with a quick swap havoc Rover team. That would make the most sense according to her character in the story and explain her interest in Rover.

The audio that got leaked where everyone is claiming to be from Camilla is labeled as Cun files and we know from an dev interview that Cun will be a separate character and a sword user.

Gunners will likely have to be single target to balance it tbh, so melee's benefit would be the aoe aspect which is better for the lower floors.
