What is the check in process? Do they run your I.Ds? What items can you take small backpacks? Thanks
Hello & thanks for tuning in!! For the check in process you will only need your ID & Covid vaccination card and/or your negative Covid test form. I didn’t bring a bag in because that line was actually too long, but my daughter had a baby bag which made her have to stand in that same long line as the others with bags. Be very careful & aware on what you do carry in your bag. I would keep it to the minimum of tissue & lip gloss. Let me know if I can help with anything else 💙

I’m leaving for basic soon and the saddest part is leaving my brother how did they cope when she left cause I just want him to be good?
Congrats to you!! It was totally hard on them the 1st two weeks of her being away, but it gradually got better tho as time went on. He'll be okay! Tell him he'll get to speak with you every Sunday. The lil ones always looked forward to that (including myself). Time flew by so quick & it will for you as well. xoxo!!

My daughter graduates Dec 2- Charlie Company 3rd battalion. We are trying to arrange travel, but I need to know. Is there a vax mandate to get on base and see them graduate? Do they check you at the gates? Or can you have a negative test and get it?
Aww! Congratulations to you guys!! It was supposedly at 1st, but now all you will need is a 72hr in advance negative covid test to show them when you get there. They’ll then give you a card that shows you’ve been previously checked for the next day.

why do they check your ids and how long does the process take to get through the line once they take IDS?
Anytime you’re entering the base they’ll check your id & the process went by fast once it started. At least under 10 min for us because we were at the beginning of the line.
