It's amazing how far animated shows have come during both the early, Mid and late 2000's. A lot of these shows have made absolute history in terms of forming people's childhood!!!
The Owl House holds a special place in my heart because I’m autistic and characters like Luz and Eda are very relatable to me. I still love other cartoons like Rugrats, The Proud Family, Samurai Jack and Ed Edd n Eddy.
Characters who want to fit in, despite their flaws.

Hilda is one of my favourite animated shows in recent years. The animation, voice acting and storytelling are all sublime.

Yeah. I get that Bluey is more popular for a 2018 cartoon, but it was hard to choose one between those shows. And it feels like Hilda deserves more popularity
What I really love about The Owl House aside from its LGBTQ+ representation and diverse characters, it supports those who are considered outcasts because of who they are and their interests. Characters looking for acceptance and who choose to live in isolation until they meet those who remind them that weirdos stuck together

2010 is by far the best decade full of cartoons as we have gotten bangers after bangers like Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, Rick and Morty, Gravity Falls, Bojack Horseman, etc
My favorite cartoons are Adventure Time, Regular Show, Rick and Morty, and Solar Opposites

I stopped watching DC cartoons sometime after 07, so I've only seen trailers for new DC cartoon shows; and I always confuse Gravity Falls with Uncle Grandpa. (Never saw either show unless commercials count.)

I'd add Legend of Korra, most specifically because of Korra's PTSD in season 4.
Shame Amphibia and The Ghost and Molly McGee weren’t acknowledged. But I’m glad Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls, Kim Possible, The Loud House, and The Owl House were.

Gravity Falls, Ducktales (new), Hilda, The Owl House and Arcane. Each of these shows made a splash when I first saw them. Heck, I grew up with Dipper and Mabel from Gravity Falls. I was 12 when it started, and 13 when it ended. I'm still waiting for that "Next Summer"🥹
Blue eye samurai was a masterpiece, I really think it should be on the list

Danny Phantom and xmen evolution needs an honorable mention
The fact I’ve watched nearly all of these and there’s still hundreds of shows from this century I’ve loved since childhood (dating back to my early Noggin/Nick Jr and Playhouse Disney/Disney Jr years). I love animation.
I fully watched the Owl House a couple of weeks ago for the first time. I am putting this show into my top 5 favorite shows of all time! I absolutely fell in love with it!
My childhood are Samurai Jack, Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb, Milo Murphy's Law, Danny Phantom, American Dragon: Jake Long, Randy Cunningham, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Ninjago, Gravity Falls, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Avatar: The Legend of Korra, and etc.

I'd have to say the 2012 iteration of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that went from 2012 to 2017. I love it because it had the same feel as the O.G. series from 1987-1996. And it didn't hurt that the O.G. Raphael voice Actor voiced Donnatello for the 2012 series.
Upsetting that Codename Kids Next Door or Miraculous weren't acknowledged, but you managed to make this list a good one

Season 3 should’ve had some episodes about the life in the human realm before Thanks To Them.
For 2003, they were great shows from Nick like My Life as a Teenage Robot and Danny Phantom
altogether for that year. It brings good recognition of animation even creativity.
Adventure Time has changed TV animation forever, fantasy cartoons with deep lore have become the norm

I can't really argue these. I have a few I like more than the ones chosen but that is just personal preference but every choice was great. So many good shows. I will also say that Harley Quinn really surprised me as well with how fun and entertaining it is.
I think hands down my favorite shows would have to be TMNT 2012 version and the Owl House.
ATLA is iconic. the character development, plot, world building, and lore are honestly air tight and bullet proof. my favourite series to date even after all this time.

Its one of the few non story arc based animated shows that I have seen EVERY episode of

Legend of vox machine will forever be the best £50 I ever spent, to think it was only meant to be a 90 min animated special and is now a multi season animated show with a M9 series on the way!!

Love the As Told by Ginger appreciation! I didn’t grow up with it but watched it recently and it really was a gem.
It's funny because for more than a decade I've been doing my own list of the best animated TV Series from every year, begining in 1950 with "Crusader Rabbit" and ending in 2023 with "Blue Eye Samurai", though my list also includes Anime. My list and that of MsMojo are very similar. Here are the years where I differed:
- 2000: Yu Gi Oh! Duel Monsters
- 2003: The Grimm adventures of Billy and Mandy
- 2006: Death Note
- 2008: the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack
- 2009: Archer
- 2011: the Amazing World of Gumball
- 2013: Mickey Mouse
- 2014: Over the Garden Wall
- 2015: Star vs. The forces of Evil
- 2016: Trollhunters, tales of Arcadia
- 2017: Ducktales
- 2019: Green Eggs and Ham
- 2023: Blue Eye Samurai
Amphibia in 2019 should have at least got a mention.

Back in 2002, I was only three, but I was OBSESSED with What's New Scooby Doo. Not to mention Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated from 2010. Scooby Doo is one franchise I will never get sick of. Even if Velma is a crime against Scooby Doo.
HOW THE HECK WAS NINJAGO ONCE AGAIN NOT BE IN THE LIST SOMEWHERE, IT HAS MULTIPLE GREAT SEASONS LIKE SONS OF GARMADON IN 2018, DRAGON RISING LAST YEAR, TOURNAMENT OF ELEMENTS/POSSESION IN 2015, AND MORE.

The Owl House was SUCH an amazing show. ESPECIALLY with it's portrayal of LGBTQ+ with it's main protagonist Lumity Noceda being a Bisexual latina,
and its representation of a typical Latino family.

Can you give a list of 20 upcoming animated kids shows to look out for and 20 best animated kids shows of the 2020 decade? I can't believe that when ATLA turns 20 it's remake might be ending. Also hate the fact that you preferred adult shows over kids shows in some years
Surprised MLP FIM wasn't on this list given it's popularity; especially of it's background characters and fandom/fan art/animations practically taking over everything.

I would’ve liked to see Primal on this list, but this is a fine list otherwise. I’ve seen several of the shows featured here and enjoyed many of them.
Samurai Jack, Teen Titans, and Rick and Morty in particular are my favorites out of this list as well as being a few of my favorite shows in general.
In 2000 I Mostly Watched Captain Planet (1990-1996) Reruns also reruns of Silverhawks (1986-1987)

The owl house will always hold a special place in my heart. I’ve never loved and was saddened by a show ending in my 27 years as much as I love this show.
Really, really offended that amphibia wasn't even considered for this. That show changed me. I'm much more positive because of it, seeing the bright side of things again.
Why wasn’t Final Space chosen for the 2018 slot? It was well received and had a huge following. It was severely underrated. Big mouth on the other hand shouldn’t have been chosen for the 2016 slot because it’s too revolting and too crass
I know how you feel. I believe that "Danny Phantom" deserved the 2004 slot. The Mojo lists always end up displeasing someone.
