My belly hurt so much when I watched it with my friends in front of the tv 😂.
The genius of Friz Freleng and Hawley Pratt was in the mastery of comic timing to where they could pull off the most inventive visual gags with the minimum of animation. The house crash is *literally* only two frames.
I am fourteen but when I was younger, my dad got me every original Tom and jerry as well as every original pink panther episode and that is what I was raised on. If I ever have kids I plan to do the same thing as I love these shows even to this day. Would recommended in lieu of something like Cocomelon.

Ever since I saw this episode as a kid I’ve done the bathtub thing where I lower myself in three times before settling in. At this point it’s so ingrained in me that I do it on instinct. It’s become a key part of my bath time ritual.
This cartoon and the comics are a masterpiece, because they are universal and timeless. It's gold in itself, especially if you compare this to the rubbish that you may watch at today's television.
