The speaker in our constitution can never be powerful than the president, you can read our constitution and understand what am talking about. He is just wearing his political suit, which is dangerous but in this case he feels he is more powerful than the president which is wrong.

@@wisdomakpaloo So why has he suspended the approvals of the president's designated ministers who are supposed to work for ghana's development and parliament who has to sit and take development decisions for our country ghana ? Did you carefully listen to him in parliament ? What was his statement in parliament when he suspended parliament ? Did you look at his body language ? Remember it is not his party that is in government. So what will be the outcome if the speaker was coming from the governing party ?

What is smart about what he did? His party met and decided that an issue they raised at the time the ministerial nominations was presented should file a motion at the court a day before what he did, so he can read a long note of complaints and insults about what the president did, so he can do the same; except in his case, the suit had nothing to do with the ministers that had been vetted...Ghanaians are so fixated on an anger towards the president that any senseless act, opposing him, is wise
@@maamedarkoa2412 ok so how about your smart and intelligent president also do his constitutionally mandated duty by either signing the bill or vetoing the bill and bringing it back to parliament for the mps to see if they can get the 2/3 majority votes to pass it. We all know the president doesn’t want to sign it that is why he has got an npp surrogate to take the bill to court with the intention of delaying the whole process so if the speaker is also saying that someone has taken the nomination process to court to stop the ministers from being confirmed, I guess we have to let the whole court process play out just like the president wants the court to decide when it comes to the legality of the bill.

They are not even majority, according to Ken Agyapong (bless his heart) the NPP paid GHs1 million to the independent MP to align himself with NPP in Parliament. This independent MP was rejected by NPP and verbally abused by Akufo Addo which led him to stand as independent candidate against the NPP candidate in the 2020 parliamentary election. To think that some NDC voters might have even voted for him as an independent candidate. He arrived in Parliament, takes bribe from his abusers and aligns himself with them, he has no scruples. He is a morally bankrupt man!!!
