This looks like a great tour and we are coming to Utah in October 2021. I checked the website and they charge $330 a person. Even for a 3 year old and we are all on the same machine. Seems expensive to pay over a $1000 for this tour. Do you know if there are any discounts?

I cannot speak to the pricing. We paid $629 for 5 adults in 2 machines October 2020. I would call and speak to Cricket.

You can rent a UTV in town for around $500. Best deal is to do a 24hr rental so you can ride several hours over 2 days. Tours are ok for first timers but after that, I much prefer having my own machine. Did Hells Revenge recently- passed the tours and remember thinking how slow they go.

Looks like you had fun. Next time please wear a helmet! Also, keep your fingers and thumbs out of the wheel too- on a UTV, they can spin quick and break your wrist and fingers instantly- happens often.
FYI, the person in front of you almost rolled it at 5:57. They should provide some basic instruction beyond, "follow my tracks." You always want to try to go squarely up any incline. NEVER go up on an angle like that person did. It can be tricky when the incline is off-camber but you have to do your best. I will always back up just so I can square up with the hill. Then I go up very slowly in low gear and again, straight up the incline. If the machine starts to lose traction, I simply stop and go back down and try again. That is why they have reverse. Never slam on the gas when you run into trouble, especially on an off-camber incline/decline. That is exactly how you roll over. If you do roll, keep your hands inside. I am surprised a tour operator could get insurance and not require everyone to wear a helmet. There is no reason not to. In Utah it's law if you are under 21 for a motorcycle- not sure about UTV.
