Germany, but specifically Merkel, are seen as the final destroyers of European civilisation. Two World Wars, an EU dictatorship, and finally the “refugee” disaster. Merkel is in the running to be named the worst European to have ever lived. Hitler and Stalin at least had the courtesy to not *abolish* the entire continent's future existence after they both destroyed the place. Their destruction was temporary, Merkel's is _permanent._

He brought the dog in because he didn't understand why she had a fear of dogs and wanted her to get over her fear when she was there, he later gave her a dog plushie when she left. I don't think he intended to be rude to her considering he is rather calm and well mannered in meetings and with her, there is many images and videos of this too, but she as well sends him beer that he likes from Germany, so their maybe some friendship behind politics ya know. It is true she is very professional in her work and she worked hard to get where she is and even was laughed at but kept going at it, I have a respect for her.

However Merkel is a rarity on that she doesn't impose her beliefs on others, even where she has the power to do so. Many politicians could learn from her example on this.

Having no borders is not Merkels decision, its a EU treaty called Schengen. It worked fine until the Eastern European countries joined the EU, and later refugees start to exploit it too.
Inviting in millions is of course retarded and it was a mistake, and I'm sure Merkel knows it too. The German Government didnt expect that number at all. They originally thought there'd be not more than 10.000. Anyways, that is just a friction of her politics, Germans generally care most about a stable economy, thats where she is center, or even right-center. You'd be shocked if you read Programs of the SPD, die Linke or the Grüne. They are incredibly left wing, just barely away from communism/socialism.

Merkel did very well for herself but her 2015 legacy for the German people and for Europe is already proving traumatic and ultimately could result in civil war.
