I live in Michigan, I started thrifting to be more environmentally friendly but then I absolutely fell in love with it. My mom was always a “garbage picker” so I have vivid memories of driving around with my mom and stopping to grab things off the side of the road. She had never thrifted before I took her and she also fell in love with it. We go together all the time now and it’s been a wonderful bonding experience. My personal decor style is very eclectic, I love almost anything bohemian, Egyptian, mid century, Victorian, art deco, 90s grunge, and many more! Carved wood, etched brass, mixed metals, rustic, tribal, love absolutely anything with a detailed “wallpaper” pattern. I love animal trinkets, tapestries, embroidery, patchwork fabric, landscape paintings. I really love finding unique items with a specific purpose. One of my favorite finds is a foot stool that someone made (probably as a gag gift) with actual feet and even badly painted toenails 🤣 I love your videos, you have such a good eye, and I would be happy to make a unboxing video if I am picked as the winner!
It's such a fun experience to thrift with family members who are into it. I really miss my sister who was an avid thrifter and my biggest competitor since we often liked the same stuff.

I almost walked out of the thrift store today and then I saw a antique Victorian medicine cabinet. I went back and forth on buying it for about 20 minutes and ultimately told myself I’d regret it if I didn’t buy it so I did and I’m so happy I did. It’s stunning. I cannot wait to polish it up and display it.

I came out of my mother’s womb loving the color blue so there is always blue in my house, but there must also be other colors as well. I love to travel and always try to find souvenirs that I incorporate into my decor so I get reminded of my travels daily. I like to shop for vintage because the quality is so much better. I shop for linens, china, glassware, wood serving pieces and pottery. While renting now, I also hope to someday have a Tiki bar in my house. Big fan of holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. Happy birthday month! 🥳 I used to work in social services, primarily with folks experiencing homelessness, but after my mom and stepdad passed about a year and a half ago, I had to step back and take a break. Just last month I got some shelves at a local vendor mall and am dipping my toe into vintage reselling - something my mom had been encouraging me to do for years. Because of that I definitely have eclectic taste, but skew kind of boho + arts and crafts era, with some MCM thrown in, and maximalist tendencies. 😂 Like in this video, loving the copper planter, the brass candlesticks (which I actually have also!) and the vintage nature art, but also those fabulously opulent lil gold framed pictures!

My style would be French provincial with a touch of mid century thrown in. I love garage sales. My favourite thing to find are linen tea towels with floral designs that have never been used. I also like brass or metal critters. Anything carved wood is also a winner. I have found some great pieces of small art and I scored a Pablo Zabal bird for $3. Today I picked up a vintage croquet set for $5. I love a bargain. I work in catering so I like unusual kitchen bits and pieces too. I like pretty much everything you pick up.

I’m British but have lived in Los Angeles for 10 years. I used to go to jumble sales and antique shops with my grandmother who gave me the love of anything vintage or antique. I love anything from the 50’s back especially brass, wood and oil paintings. Luckily I’ve been to a few great estate sales and take my 13yr old son. We recently decorated his bedroom with our finds and restored furniture, so it’s now ‘dark academia’ inspired. Absolutely love your videos and your wonderful enthusiasm for vintage ❤

Thanks for another shopping video...I am NOT a morning person, so the only way I am getting in line for a great estate sale is with someone like YOU, you are indefatigueable, and I am grateful! I get to see things I would never see! My collections are inspired by my collecting grandmother, Edna (she hated that name!) who had a GREAT EYE and worked professionally as a hair stylist. When she could save a little money, she bought things she loved! So....growing up, it seemed normal to have deferred household maintainence issues...worn out furniture, but a great painting in the living room. She gave me an eye for the special. I tend to collect by color...I like 60s pastels for the Kitchen, I like Vintage Pink or Blue towels for the vintage pink-tile bathroom, I like seascapes! Totem Poles! Printed or Embroidered Textiles to jazz up the sofa or bed or table-top....I also like things just because they are all-black, or all white...or black and white...the sculptural quality of solid items when they are a solid color, things that might get dismissed as too-plain get really exciting in groups!

I live in Vancouver bc Canada I’m obsessed with frogs I have paintings and things to put in garden with frogs on it and also salt and pepper shakers as frogs frog shower curtain and bath mat. I’m missing anything pottery frogs, liquid hand soap with frogs on it or as a frog, or any native indigenous/American persons carvings I love native indigenous/American artwork carvings. I started thrifting as a child a would go to garage sales with my family and negotiate a lower price. I loved spending time with my family we still go and thrift together still. I always had to watch my money because it’s expensive to live in the city I live in rent takes a good chunk of money out of savings. Also love to find interesting stuff like frogs and native art carvings it’s cheaper at thrift stores. I live in Michigan, I started thrifting to be more environmentally friendly but then I absolutely fell in love with it. My mom was always a “garbage picker” so I have vivid memories of driving around with my mom and stopping to grab things off the side of the road. She had never thrifted before I took her and she also fell in love with it. We go together all the time now and it’s been a wonderful bonding experience. My personal decor style is very eclectic, I love almost anything bohemian, Egyptian, mid century, Victorian, art deco, 90s grunge, and many more! Carved wood, etched brass, mixed metals, rustic, tribal, love absolutely anything with a detailed “wallpaper” pattern. I love animal trinkets, tapestries, embroidery, patchwork fabric, landscape paintings. I really love finding unique items with a specific purpose. One of my favorite finds is a foot stool that someone made (probably as a gag gift) with actual feet and even badly painted toenails 🤣 I love your videos, you have such a good eye, and I would be happy to make a unboxing video if I am picked as the winner!

It's such a fun experience to thrift with family members who are into it. I really miss my sister who was an avid thrifter and my biggest competitor since we often liked the same stuff.

I almost walked out of the thrift store today and then I saw a antique Victorian medicine cabinet. I went back and forth on buying it for about 20 minutes and ultimately told myself I’d regret it if I didn’t buy it so I did and I’m so happy I did. It’s stunning. I cannot wait to polish it up and display it.

I came out of my mother’s womb loving the color blue so there is always blue in my house, but there must also be other colors as well. I love to travel and always try to find souvenirs that I incorporate into my decor so I get reminded of my travels daily. I like to shop for vintage because the quality is so much better. I shop for linens, china, glassware, wood serving pieces and pottery. While renting now, I also hope to someday have a Tiki bar in my house. Big fan of holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. I used to work in social services, primarily with folks experiencing homelessness, but after my mom and stepdad passed about a year and a half ago, I had to step back and take a break. Just last month I got some shelves at a local vendor mall and am dipping my toe into vintage reselling - something my mom had been encouraging me to do for years.
Because of that I definitely have eclectic taste, but skew kind of boho + arts and crafts era, with some MCM thrown in, and maximalist tendencies. 😂 Like in this video, loving the copper planter, the brass candlesticks (which I actually have also!) and the vintage nature art, but also those fabulously opulent lil gold framed pictures!

I also like brass or metal critters. Anything carved wood is also a winner. I have found some great pieces of small art and I scored a Pablo Zabal bird for $3. Today I picked up a vintage croquet set for $5. I love a bargain. I work in catering so I like unusual kitchen bits and pieces too. I like pretty much everything you pick up.

I’m British but have lived in Los Angeles for 10 years. I used to go to jumble sales and antique shops with my grandmother who gave me the love of anything vintage or antique. I love anything from the 50’s back especially brass, wood and oil paintings. Luckily I’ve been to a few great estate sales and take my 13yr old son. We recently decorated his bedroom with our finds and restored furniture, so it’s now ‘dark academia’ inspired. Absolutely love your videos and your wonderful enthusiasm for vintage ❤

Thanks for another shopping video...I am NOT a morning person, so the only way I am getting in line for a great estate sale is with someone like YOU, you are indefatigueable, and I am grateful! I get to see things I would never see! My collections are inspired by my collecting grandmother, Edna (she hated that name!) who had a GREAT EYE and worked professionally as a hair stylist. When she could save a little money, she bought things she loved! So....growing up, it seemed normal to have deferred household maintainence issues...worn out furniture, but a great painting in the living room. She gave me an eye for the special. I tend to collect by color...I like 60s pastels for the Kitchen, I like Vintage Pink or Blue towels for the vintage pink-tile bathroom, I like seascapes! Totem Poles! Printed or Embroidered Textiles to jazz up the sofa or bed or table-top....I also like things just because they are all-black, or all white...or black and white...the sculptural quality of solid items when they are a solid color, things that might get dismissed as too-plain get really exciting in groups!

Hi Abigail, I only recently found you on you tube and have enjoyed watching you shop thrift stores, yard sales and estate sales. I have been thrifting since I was a child and am now 67 and still love shopping at those places. I am pretty eclectic in my decorating style but I just love every thing you buy and can't wait to see your next shopping trip.

My birthday is in May.
I live in Vancouver bc Canada I’m obsessed with frogs
I have paintings and things to put in garden with frogs on it and also salt and pepper shakers as frogs frog shower curtain and bath mat. I’m missing anything pottery frogs, liquid hand soap with frogs on it or as a frog, or any native indigenous/American persons carvings I love native indigenous/American artwork carvings. I started thrifting as a child a would go to garage sales with my family and negotiate a lower price. I loved spending time with my family we still go and thrift together still. I always had to watch my money because it’s expensive to live in the city I live in rent takes a good chunk of money out of savings. Also love to find interesting stuff like frogs and native art carvings it’s cheaper at thrift stores.
I started watching your videos so it would cheer up my day with watching you travel and thrift shop so many cool things from so many different cultures and artwork. Thank you for making me smile.
