Time for Western to learn from Taiwan what is democracy.. 😅

    In addition, the party
that wants this bill to pass has not
disclosed the final content of the bill.
Because of their large number, they
    directly skip the complicated review
and other steps and use "straight to
second reading", which is used when
the country is in crisis. To pass the bill
urgently, to quickly pass the bill you
want to pass. Many people and parties
opposed to this bill protested outside
the Legislative Yuan, just like fighting
for democracy in the past. There were
also legislators who did not support
    this party who were deliberately
pushed down by the party supporting
the bill during the war in the Legislative
Yuan. They fell on their heads and were
    sent to the hospital.

Yes exactly. I think the news didn’t inform people fully of the reason of the brawl

Even the ex AIT and over 2 dozens US academic have said that the reforms, proposed by KMT and the Taiwan People's Party (TPP), "exceed the bounds of those found in constitutional democracies around the world, subvert the rule of law and parliamentary procedures."

Really?I thought that not many foreigners knew about this matter, because the news I saw on Twitter and CZcams were all one-sided information and did not give the facts to those who did not understand. I am very happy that the truth can be spread quickly. We are fighting for democracy.

The government is probably focusing on dealing those very serious situation of constitutional violation and did not have time to worry about bolstering Taiwan’s international image yet…
With over 30,000 people gathering in front of our congress on a raining Monday on 5/21 (I was there in the morning and night but lots of people staying for the whole day, through midnight) and angering with KMT, we don’t want to become HK.
Once the laws passed by KMT, the congress can do ANY thing to humiliate our government and brought staff to jails. In addition, KMT proposed a huge construction of high way and high speed rail to Hualien, where the big earthquake just happened. The construction could cost our budget deficit and potentially open for China’s one belt road project!!!
      I can’t express how angry

I'm taiwanese. I have to say that this time the majority (over 60%) support the controversial reform bill. It makes our government more transparent.
