Thanks for the post. ASU is one of my favorite colleges in football, I wonder why Jake never had a good NFL career, he was amazing at ASU. I guess being put on bad teams don't help.
I aqree that Rose Bowl with Plummer that year for ASU was gut wrentching, ASU would have won if they had more time in the game. Jake was just amazing that senior year at ASU. Jeff Van Raaphorst was my second favorite ASU QB that 1987 Rose Bowl was great (thier only Rose bowl win, right?) a win over Michigan and Harbaugh. I was happy (at the time ) that my Favorite NFL team drafted Andew Walter from ASU, until he started playing.....ASU qbs were awful in the NFL for some reason.
I was at this game as a kid! I remember tons of fights in the stands 🤣

I was there also. There was blood all over a section of bleacher seats in the south end zone.
All those games were must win after the four straight losses...veteran team responded like it down the stretch of the '02 season.
Keep them coming… great appetizer before the main dish on Monday night against the purple birds.
