- This is the opening credits for the 2nd episode of My Two Dads. It is slightly longer than the opening theme which eventually gets aired with subsequent episodes. Also missing from this is Nicole's voice-over.

My Two Dads was actually a top 20 show the first season. They were getting good shares on Sunday nights. Suprisingly, it didn't make NBC's fall schedule in 1988. It came back as a mid-season replacement in January 1989. NBC moved it around on many different nights and timeslots, and it never really found the same audience in seasons 2 and 3. It ran for 3 years from 1987 to 1990. I remember seeing the show more from syndication on the USA Network in the early to mid 1990s and in 2001-2002, than from the original NBC run. The show was not aired again until in finally returned in 2017, airing on both Antenna TV and Up Network.

Part of me headcanons that neither of the two are her bio dads. That there was a third guy who her mother knew was the dad. But he walked out on them.
A third guy was indeed the father, as they revealed in the DNA test episode.
