I love champ team and gameplay. Hands down the only player besides J wong that can take on and outmatch chris g with pure skill. All of his characters are the best ones in the scene and he could easily win almost every tournament if once and for all he stopped with his Phoenix BS, handicapping himself.
I would really get behind Champ if he stuck with his team that won Evo all the time but much like Yipes and Wong he's stubborn but that's kinda what I like about them.
dormammu is also pretty handicapping. I don't want to be the one to say it, but I think if champ switches dorm for vergil or maybe strider he could easily win evo a second time, or at least make it to finals
***** lolwut. Dorm + missiles is what won him evo the first time. Strider gets roflstomp by every high level player unless its clockwork and vergil doesnt go as well with his team as dorm. Dormammu's keepaway with doom at the back can shot down almost every strategy even morridoom. So no, he has perfect'd this team beyond reason.
***** Also you tell how useful champs dorm is for this team by looking at the dhc's, x factor cancels, thc exchanges and converts he gets off almost anything. You're wrong dude :p

I feel like in UMVC3 tournaments, that "one tiny button input error" thing applies to any character really. Especially, if you are going up against people like Dr. Doom and Vergil.
No he just pressed an extra button which made him do the super, he didint watn that, its an xfactor loop dat ends at like 2m+ why wud he waste meter and give the opponent a chance to prevent Dark Pheonix?
Chris G is a good player but he is so dependent on one player and that is Morrigan and Dooms assist once you take Doom out Chris is pretty helpless if someone kills Morrigan it's swords on Vergil until he gets a hit his Doom is terrible compared to a lot of other Doom player's I respect Chris G but I would much rather see him play a team without soul first all over the screen but that's just my opinion hopefully Capcom comes out with an MVC4 that's what I am waiting for hopefully we can see that in a couple of years but until then UMVC3 will stay broken
Honestly the worst thing about this game isn't Morrigan, Vergil or Zero. It's Doom assist. Hidden missiles is just ridiculous. If Doom gets hit, the missiles need to disappear, just like Sentinel assist.
Champ played so solid. His movement is just unbelievable. Love him or hate him, the dude is one of the best in the world. I don't respect Chris G because he is useless without his Top Tier characters. Look what happened when he had Morrigan left by herself. All he could do was spam Soulfist. If Chris went back to his Wesker/Ryu/Hawkeye team, I'd respect him more. None of this Top Tier bullshit.
C. Viper is a really strong character and is not played so much, Zero is the #1 character on the game and has less players than Vergil and Doom... Just because Morrigan played less doesn't mean she's weaker, her great zooning, normals, movement, Dark Harmonizer assist and hypers garanthee her spot between the gods, but, she's harder to play than the other gods, and many of the players are lazy, so...
***** Morrigan has no mean of infiniting you to death like Durumumu or D.Doom, and her damage outpot is very law , zooning with her is the only effective way and many ppl don't use her caz it need skill to use her unlike the characters P-champ uses
Wow, that fly input Champ did at 15:50 is pretty smart! That killed any mixups Vergil was planning to do, even if she took some damage from it.
I never thought I'd feel bad for F.Champ, but that sucks. He had Morrigan dead-to-rights and Phoenix didn't even pop yet.

He should learn how to play Morrigan without Doom, that way he's going to improve with her, and be even better if he returns to MorriDoom.

It's a very good assist, but it's not broken, not like those 3.
