Our Irish brothers and sisters have been through so much strife in the last few hundred years, and it's a real shame they can't enjoy their beautiful country and their recent prosperity in peace. Ireland is a small country with a very distinct culture and it's not fair to expect them to carry this burden.

A lot of sensible comments. UK has gone down this idiotic path to the extent we have 9 million people living in the country that weren't born here. The clear and obvious answer to why the NHS is falling apart and why there is a housing crisis.
The NHS is being propped up by foreign workers though. Because of Brexit, there is now a huge shortage of staff - foreign doctors and nurses are no longer welcome, and so the public suffers. There is a big difference between people coming in to fill vacant positions and do vital work, and young unskilled economic migrants coming in pretending to claim asylum.
