These testday's are great to hear the cars. No other cars around and no annoying music or commentators through the speakers.
Which sadly is the only time you can really hear how the M8 GTE sounds. :/

I was at the 24h Race at the Nurburgring last weekend and the M6 GT3 had the most brutal sound of all GT3-cars and it was pretty similar to the M8 GTE, which propably is, because they share mostly the same drivetrain (4.0L twinscroll V8 and 6-speed sequential)
What a car! what a design! I hope the engine and performance of this car get the level of this design! I aim to see this car at the top of every race with a talented driver...

The M6 GT3 was not bad, however this M8 has 400ccm less in her V8, but I got a feeling that she packs a little bit more punch under the bonnet technology-wise. I would love to see what it has, probably the best that motorsport technology nowadays can give you.

hmm i was really stoked when was the m6 unveiled. But disapointed in the engine sound, the turbo engines are kinda boring againts the natural aspirated r8 or 911 or the monster AMG/ bentley sound. And this M8 looks again amazing, but aaaaaahhh....if it have the characteristic sound of M3 GTR or GT2 or Z4 then it´ll be bad ass race car.

Great video, Random question, does anyone know why the wiper blade stops dead centre of the windscreen? The Porsche cup cars do exactly the same thing, so I'm guessing there must be a good reason why.
I've never been to a race like this before. I bet this car is going a lot faster than what it looks on video. I'd love to see this beauty up close and in person.
