When you say the rear camera, are you referring to the optional rear camera you install at the back window? If you are, then that's mounted using the included double sided tape or screw.

It's a dash camera, not a webcam.

Hi, Thanks for the video. I am looking to buy one of these and want to install at the same location as you did. But I am unsure how to hide all the wires. Can you please make an other video with the same unit and show how to wire discretely.
The power cable simply runs along the side of the unit and down to the 12v port. The power cable is not long enough to hide it unless you get a 12v extension power cable.
I bought this model but the screen mirror not working I turned it on and off still not working I have a iPhone 11 version 17.2.1?
Hi does the camera work without connecting the red wire? Also is there any other method to power this device
If you don't connect the red wire, the display will not show the backup view when you put the car in reverse. This is optional and you don't have to connect it in order to use this device.

Yes it turns off when ignition is off.

How to turn that start up sound it’s bloody annoying
Most of the carpuride videos are sponsored one, never seen a genuine review. It is good for really old cars which does not support bluetooth, navigation etc but just for android auto or carplay it is not worth. Poor touch response, frequrent disconnect, some time navigation struck and need to restart.
If your unit is having all those problems, you better return it because it's defective. I never had those issues.
Don't get the skinny ones, the car play/ Android auto interface is squashed
There is something that I don't understand about these units, why would they not include the Android OS? With CP or AA there is a very, very limited number of apps available, whereas with Android there are thousands and thousands of apps available. I have a few head units that will do either and personally I see no value in using AA or CP. Am I missing something?

You are right why the heŁŁ i need another phone after i buy a 200+ unit and still need my phone to be even useable....
Do not bay will break in few day's or week's hands-free, freeze etc. talk like robot if you like to send product back they will say the product can get lost or they can make lost I think.....carpuride w903
