  • Hey everyone! I hope y'all are doing great!
In this video I hit the streets armed with my Konica IIIA and Fujifilm 200.
After having shot a lot of Kodak Vision3 35mm films I feel that it's healthy to switch up 35mm films every now and then just to keep your street photography exciting. FujiFilm 200 is certainly a familiar street photography film to me and I truly enjoy shooting it.
It has a great look right off the bat and it usually doesn't need much editing.
Skin tones are wonderful and you cannot beat $8 per roll off 35mm film these days.
I truly hope you enjoy this video guys and consider supporting my channel through Patreon or ArtPal.

Hey Hashem! Good to hear from you in my little corner of this CZcams world. Yes, it is Crazy Town in Deep Ellum but that’s its major attraction to me, most definitely to the point of obsession. It’s where photographically I find my solace. Haven’t quite figured out exactly how to represent it adequately but that pursuit is as much the goal as the end goal I have in mind. Thanks so much for watching.

@@pushingfilm I think that’s the charm of every place. By the looks of your photos you’re definitely making the most of it. Melbourne does seem like a place with tons of opportunities.
I do feel I’ve reached a bit of a plateau. I’m very much interested in the individual character but I’d like to gravitate towards photos with multiple people in it. Sort of Alex Webb. They’re not easy but so rewarding.

@@TheFilmFellow It is! Every place is unique in its own way. Yeah when you nail those shots they really pay off 🙂

Really nice setup. Using a flash on a fantastic camera with a central shutter must be absolutely great. Flash on all shutterspeeds, man!! Fill-in flash in broad daylight will be great. Then you get the experience with the rangefinder in the IIIa as well. Is there any better 1:1 finder on this earth..?

Thank you for your very nice comment. I do believe that when it comes to rangefinders there is no better viewfinder than the Konica IIIA. The engineers of that day really put a lot of thought into it and you can see that this camera was designed as a direct competitor to the Leica M3. Most cameras with a hinged door will feel a tad cheap due to the poor design of the hinge but with the Konica IIIA it feels as if the camera and door are welded together.
The build quality and image quality are just second to none and the ability to indeed sync flash all the way up to 1/500 is nothing short of amazing.
      Thanks so much for watching.
