Every school in the state has a May Day assembly. I used to run the one at the school I worked at. It was the most anticipated assembly of the year. Imo having several random 1’s can look tacky, rather juvenile &/or disrespectful to our “temples”. Knock yourselves out kids, but for me it became a pass. (& I have several tattoo Artists as friends… I’m not an uptight snob.)
Yet a beautifully designed sleeve, or back for instance - that is a thoughtfully designed art piece ie a whole vision/scene elevates it from a random (what were they thinking. Lol) to a show stopper! My “Go big, or go home” maxim.
Sometimes what we cherish in the heart, feels more sacred/treasured than what we emblazon?
