- Follow along a typical campus life at Amrita University, Coimbatore.
College life was not as magical as it was shown in the films. Although, it had it's uniqueness.
After four incredible years at the college making eternal friends, gaining mentors, tasting successes, putting up with hardships, getting caught in class, discovering passion for sports, loving that someone really hard, finding part of ourselves in Manchester United and Chennai Super Kings, and losing every bit of fat left in the body, we took one last look at the board that read "Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham".
With no regrets weighing down, we walked on. What a journey it had been!

Sim cards don't work properly inside hostels, while airtel and jio will provide high internet speed everywhere in the campus

If you are from Tamil Nadu or Kerala then using state quota, you can get CSE in Coimbatore or Amritapuri campus

Some are saying it's a military discipline university so many restrictions is it true
Strict depends on how people define it - Some may feel super strict even with fundamental rules like wearing ID cards whereas some would get comfortable with such rules. Yes, there are rules as it's there in all the universities and colleges. Some rules do makes sense but it takes time to get settled with the rules and we think that's okay.
Acknowledging both fellow students perspectives and college authorities perspective, We are sure you'd have fun and also deal with a few things together, looking back everything will be amazing.
And as an insider and alumni, we are pretty sure things are way better than few comments here. :)

THAT is only if you are really good, they will fund you through state and national, but for that you have to get admission, and also amria doesnt have a sports quora, only admission through EXAM
