I would’ve had the hardware replaced too. This bag was probably made with the old sturdier canvas, far more superior compared with todays. LV canvas used to last a lifetime. This model was my very first LV purchase, bought in Singapore way back in 1998! watching this classic being restored to her former beauty was so cool. love your work

I’m curious why they always dye the leather instead of letting it age naturally? Dying it always turns more orange than a normal patina.
