I believe that the yellow laces is a nod to the Tiffany and Co yellow diamond which is one of the world's largest yellow diamond. This shoe is for hypebeasts and resellers for sure. Personally I feel that this was a missed opportunity because the cw is just way too lazy. I don't mind the $400 price tag but if you just slap on the Tiffany blue on the swoosh and some on the outsole, just a lazily done collaboration.

Ahhh that's interesting about the yellow diamond, good shout! Yea, I'm conflicted on the design. On one hand it's too simple, but on the other I can't think of anything that would be better. Maybe a teal tongue, not as clean but that might be slick.
I love mine! I haven't changed the laces yet, but I am changing to the tiffany blue, soon. Looks good with a wide leg jean. I have the matching T and hoodie too.

I didnt answer the question of, are these worth the $400 price tag? Materials, quality, packaging, laces, silver are all very nice... but no. I don't quite see the $400 dollars worth of value put into these. High end collabs like Dior started this style of pricing, and I do think those are 1000 retail shoes. I think if these Tiffany's were $275-299 there would still be upset people, but it would be more reasonable.

Saw a pic of these on Coolkicks IG where someone swapped in the white laces, actually didn't look too bad.
Subjective design opinions aside, $400 and no individual dust bags for each shoe is a bit of a kick in the teeth!

Why are some of the silver heel piece bigger on some pairs, the Tiffany website shows small silver heel pieces, but I’ve seen pairs with the bigger one too, is there a reason behind this?

I usually try my hardest to not give any hate especially in the sneakers community but this shoes just irritates me. On one end we have Nike charging 4 times as much as a normal Air Force for no real reason other than the 30$ of silver in the back and than we have Tiffany that doesn’t give a rats ass about this and just wants to hop on the trend to boost their popularity. You sell the doubre’s as separate accessories when we all know that it’s the shoes staple characteristic but you put three different laces in the box to “add value”. Hope that everyone will forget about this shoe in two months as usual. They don’t deserve the attention.
