I must repost this because when I watched a different Captain Morgan commercial with the same song, and it said to drink responsibly it donned on me that's why they put the song on the commercial because when you get smashed you sound like you're talking American gibberish. hahaha. Yes, that makes sense. haha. That's genius. I have no idea who made the commercial but THAT is genius. It's really a FABULOUS piece of musical artwork in my opinion simply because of this quote from Wiki. Otherwise we would have never known right? Here's the quote : lyrics are deliberately unintelligible gibberish except for the words "all right".[2] Celentano's intention with the song was not to create a humorous novelty song but to explore communication barriers. The intent was to demonstrate how English sounds to people who don't understand the language proficiently.
