In honor of the 20th anniversary re-release of ‘Into The Electric Castle’ we proudly present you this cool lyric video for the newly mixed version of ‘Across the Rainbow Bridge’! It’s created once again by the amazing Wayne Joyner, I think it really captures the right mood. Hope you enjoy it too, despite that weird Hippie-dude :-)

From what I’ve gathered, there was an animated film adaption of ITEC that was being developed shortly after the success of the album, however it was cancelled after Arjen realised how expensive it was going to end up being.
I could write it but who the hell will produce it, a lot of work and no money involved haha

I wish I didn't find this when I was 20ish and instead when I was 8 when it came out. My parents would likely have been rocking out to it with me rather than hating it.
Still one of the most Abba-esque choruses I've heard in an Ayreon song, and I still fucking love that intro clean-riff..
ITEC really is the definitive Ayreon album, would love a version without the spoken intros, have heard them hundreds of times.

Open world sandbox RPG in the Ayreon Universe. Would play, and play, and play.
Hell, with the Forever as a mechanic, you could have character death with consequence. You die/ fuckup, and that particular Forever is no longer able to influence that time-stream and has to either try again a generation later or get a someone else to pull strings to allow quicker re-incarnation.
