Delight in God! - Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon Sermon
Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Always love listening to anything brother Charles Spurgeon preached. What a blessing he was and still is to those who listen and glean from his messages from God's Holy word. Agape
Struggling right now. It feels like God listens to others but not me. I ask him for more faith and to let this faith sink from my head into my heart so that I experience true love for God but it feels like nothing ever happens. I don’t want to give up on God though as I do believe in Him and that I will be a lost soul without Him.

Do not give up. God is silent sometimes even when all is well. Take it as a time to reach out, search your heart, and seek him. I have been a christian for decades, and it was only yesterday that God finally spoke after 7 months of agonizing silence. Read the psalms. They are balm for the soul.
He will hear and answer remember Daniels prayers
Praying for you. The Christian life sometimes is a struggle. But God is FAITHFUL to direct us even in the hard, painful times.
We may not understand the reason but patience- Gods timing is perfect 🙏❤️

I wish (for lack of a better word- because I know that Believers don’t believe in magic) that I had known about C H Spurgeon when I first became a Christian over thirty years ago.
What heartache and regret I could have avoided.
