you collect star as you win, lost star as you lost, collect 5 star you can enter promotion fight to increase your level, same if you lost all star, you enter demotion fight. as you reach level 30 previously you can promote into champion. now instead of champion, you get level 31 to 40 and beyond level 40 is immortal. same as champion, you can collect more than 5 stars to distance yourself further from demotion
