YES! This was fantastic! Since I actually forgot to comment on the announcement I'm gonna merge that comment with this one.
I'm really glad to see you branch off into your own series. I admit, despite really enjoying TSLZ's recent increase in quality mixed with the merger, I definitely see what you meant with a little of the old TSLBAE not being fully present. Plus, I hope some other characters unlikely for TSLZ that were likely for TSLBAE could hopefully get their redemption in Casette, but really any new obscure choices are fine with me. With this branchoff, I'm sure a lot of the old aesthetic can really return to form and get some picks much less likely for the team at TSLZ. Speaking of aesthetic... BIG fan of the cassette choice, and that take on the Smash ball transition is SO cool I can't.
And well... the aesthetic really DOES return (TALKING SPOILERS NOW)
I actually remember a while back watching that CD Rom Little My smash vid you uploaded and not thinking much of it at the time, so seeing it and her return was a very funny thing to watch. The set was fantastic! All the moves felt very original, and the fact that you could get so much interesting specials solely out of weird game spinoffs of Moomin is pretty fascinating (soon we'll have a version of each Moomin character, huh? ;D). Up special especially, impressive to see a pull for jumping on furniture becoming a clever magic Up B. The presentation as well, all the original effects made specifically for her were SO cool, like holy shit I love when Lawls do that. The FS effect was so cool??? The stages and their hazards were baller, too, big shoutouts especially to Little My's homestage, it really gives off that little village feel. Overall, fantastic return to Lawl, this one's definitely a favorite of mine.
also so THATS what that cameo was for a while back, lol

It's..hard to describe this moveset. it's like we started where we left of with TSLBAE..but in an odd parallel universe..and I love it!
I'm so happy to see more Moomin representation in Lawl. I remember seeing CD Rom My over here in that pastebin years ago and I was like "Huh, interesting" and that's about it, but seeing it all visualized and everything..it's simple, but WAY too much fun! X3 Perfect for a first moveset! the animation and camera work is as wonderful as ever. The cameos are also super fun and awesome references (plus OMG THERE I AM!! QuQ). the stages too also feel just so alive! there's always SOMETHING going on, which just SCREAMS Smash Bros too me! (also, the moving background on the boombox stage reminds me so much of the Spitting Image stage, which given that was one of my favorites, is a BIG plus)
This was SO much better than anything I could've expect! Just wonderful work overall! like i've said before, i'm just so happy to see my all time favorite lawler back in the game after so long. best of luck moving forward with this new lawl!

I may not be familiar with the character, but once again that's the joy of Lawl. Always introducing people to obscure sources and niches
But holy crap the presentation here is beautiful! I really liked the inspiration clip format and the Final Smash cut-in animation, that mini animation was a massive highlight in my eyes. Speaking of the Final Smash is easily one of favs of all time. It's both zany as hell and creative, perfect for lawl.
CD Rom Little My had a simple yet fun set. Very fitting character choice for Lawl Cassette's debut moveset! Really excited to see what other characters you have in mind, especially the Minecraft character you teased in the announcement vid, and whoever that Baldi stage belongs to 👀

For your first solo moveset in years, this was an amazing start for this particular Lawl. I always found this version of My to be among the oddest you had an interest in, yet this set did well in representing just how surreal and weird those games could be. My favorite moves were probably the Couch up special and the final smash. I also loved seeing the explanations for the cameo characters and the stage based on Worst Heroes and Villains War Ever. Really looking forward to seeing who’s next, and what this Lawl has in store.

This was in all honesty and personally speaking a breath of fresh air. Not only was it refreshing to have you running a moveset videos creation solo, it also just feels like a refined TSLBAE moveset. If the Globglogabgalabs moveset video was a wild and passionately made painting, CD Rom Little My feels like a more refined redo of that painting, with the same energy behind each brush stroke now with more clarity. And while I don't know exactly how faithful this moveset is to CD Rom Moomin games, it just feels like it does a solid job given the wide range of games represented (plus it was just satisfying to see the three dimensional version of My and the 0 points personal meme utilized). This was overall just a really nice moveset video that I'm glad you were able to do.
There's a lotta great stuff at play in this moveset. CD Rom Little My feels like a very strong character with all the tools in her kit. From her water bucket which can stop projectiles. To her projectile which acts as a temporary hitbox that she can sneak around behind. To her Up Special which has solid horizontal recovery as well as bury. To her Hemulophone which, admittedly is the one part that feels a little too strong. Like the opponent should have some way of safely getting out of it early without facing the wrath of Bad Graphics Moomin. Wow that was a sentence I had to type pfffft. But yeah overall this moveset feels like it'd be really fun to play. I could see myself spamming Side Taunt a lot to try to get the dreadful yelling bird.
This moveset helped remind me why I enjoyed TSLBAE and Zero, and enjoy TSLZ so much now: These Lawls aren't afraid to get wild with moveset ideas, and even wilder with character picks. They might not always fully land sometimes, and the characters can get head scratchingly obscure, but I can't help but appreciate how personal these videos feel. Cause its a reminder that while its great to see people get excited for a moveset or curious to know who's next (which is me, hi I really wanna know who else you got planned or considered for this Lawl heh), we really are ultimately doing this for ourselves and maybe our close friends too. And I hope you really do enjoy making these spotlights for characters and ideas that you personally like a lot. I also hope you'll be able to stick around for the wild ride that's TSLZ heh. Congrats on completing your first solo moveset in years dude. Whatever hopefully comes next I'm greatly excited and curious for.

SPOILER FOR WHO THE CHARACTER IS

While the Moomin universe is something I only know through the Lawls you've been involved with, this character feels very nostalgic to me given how many CD-Rom activity centers and minigame compilations I used to play when I was a little kid. This set definitely encapsulates the vibe of those and I like how you managed to get both the choppy 2D animation and the scary pre-rendered 3D into the set so seamlessly. As for the moveset itself, I particularly enjoyed it! It was a bit strange to see a Lawl moveset where pretty much all opponents were cameos or the playable character in a different costume, but other than that I loved a lot of her projectiles and traps. The Side B in particular seems like it's a really fun move to use with the uncharged and charged variants, and the Up B where she drops furniture onto you is another move that's as nicely animated as it's funny to see in action. Gimping an opponent's recovery by dropping a couch on them is very funny in concept. The Final Smash is also hilarious to see, and I love how animated that part of the moveset was, with everyone running around, jumping and attacking (ty for the Nova cameos!)
Though funnily enough I believe the parts that I enjoyed the most from this moveset were the non-moveset parts of it. I really enjoyed her Victory Poses a whole bunch, having her get KO'd by stage hazards is a really creative choice and leagues above "hitbox coming from an invisible character", "placeholder trap" or "text that says that I ran out of ideas", and the Cameo Explanations were great (has anyone besides Shad with Ceda done these before?) and show how creative you were when chosing which characters to feature here. For instance, I assumed you picked Bart and Hat Kid because both are troublemaking children, but the fact there was another connection in the games themselves was a pleasant surprise!

Aaaaaa I'm so glad you enjoyed it you don't know how much it means!
Anyways yee, I am surprised you didn't mention that her Down Special was pretty much Toon Waluigi's down special but with music instead of art, granted, I made it more distinctive in that regard, but the influence is there and I admit it to it.
And yes, I've always loved showcasing stage hazards and felt it'd be a nice throwback to Waligie's remake in TSLBAE. And who knew Bart Simpson ever cameoed in a Moomin game? That's why I love these games.

H U R R A H ! , Nice Moveset, Little My’s Moveset is A Little Blast, I Like How Little My’s Neutral B is Pouring Water on The Opponents, The Other Moves are Fire, and The Final Smash Tho 💀💀💀
    I Rate It A 10/10

1: Not bad for the first choice and it's one of the planned TSLZ characters, the moveset's very unique and does match the source material quite well, also enjoyed the cameos from other creators' rosters including Hammer Man's can't wait to see who else will be in.
2: It does make a nice approach to the Lawl multiverse as it provides concept for a connected roster of characters from the random series.
3: Knowing that either Lockdown Lockout or the next part of WHVWE Round 14 might be next I still have thoughts involving WVWER mostly with the factions/status of the villains and it being different from the old version and Manuel's try even though some choices did make it stand in quality.
4: My villain tournament progress is getting somewhere with the factions, there's some returning from my old blog and some new ones even with surprising character selections.

Y'know, even after all these years, it's funny to me how you still got the same blunt yet distinct style in your moveset... in a good way, as I can never see these videos and characters in anyone's hands but yours.
Despite not knowing in depth about the source material or even the Moomin franchise as a whole, the way this particular version of Little My is thrown around as a version of our favorite hotheaded gremlin girl that's a mishmash of all the weirdness within the games always interested me, and I'm sure glad she found her way into the Miro-verse even if she's not in the same room as the mainline Moomin reps.
From My's stiff and eerie animation correspond to the ones you shown in the inspiration clips, to the moves having many secondary functions that distort the battlefield and the opponents despite being based on relatively mundane and seemingly insignificant minigames really gives you an idea of how weird the original ganes are (presumably).
The Final Smash is likely a reference to something I didn't get, but the effect of the character collecting things that power them up for a finishing move really sells how vigorous Final Smashes are as a game mechanic, and surely made a game of musical chair more dangerous than it sounds.
On a sidenote, I hope that people oughta demonstrate stage hazards and single player bliz outside of Stage Showcase videos, because using them for KO sound segment is honestly brilliant in my opinion.
All and all, it's an excellent first moveset both for this Lawl and being mostly solo after all this time. Hopefully there will be cooler things to come for this Lawl, with or without the two reveals you promised, and good luck!

That's a nice moveset, I liked how the sources had been used to create a unique but fun moveset.
One thing that i liked to See more in this lawl it's how the cassette theme of your lawl affects the play style in General, it's something optional, if you want the cassette Part to not affect the gameplay it's fine but it will give something unique to See on your lawl. By the way i'm feeling fine.

Right in the childhood. I, like many finnish smucks, grew up with lots and lots of Moomins, so seeing my second favourite character in the franchise (Behind Sniff) get a moveset really makes my day.

Not too familiar with the source material, but this moveset was great! Especially since it’s your first solo moveset in years. I really enjoyed the representation from it as well as the smooth animation. Everything about this moveset is amazing and looking forward to seeing more content like this in the near future!

Not gonna lie. This moveset is not only good, but it's absolutely fantastic. The amount of effort that is to make this moveset is truly remarkable. I really can't wait to see what you will deliver for this new Lawl, and maybe myself as-well.
