I found laying my jacket out side up over the tank was good to stop any unwanted scratches from swapping out bars

Good video wish I would of seen it before I did my bars they weren’t that bad to do but video gives you a better idea of what to do
No speedo? Any ideas if we want to incorporate the speedo? not on the top clamp either.
Made the speed merchants bushing look easy. I had hell.
I have done them ALOT. Its all in the feel of when the threads are lined up.
Oh great video but you know we would have liked to seen what the bars look like on the bike you should have filmed it front to back side to side that's pretty important I would say
There are so many bar/riser combos out there we can't please everybody.
Like doing an exhaust install then not starting the bike.
great video, gives me confidence to do this myself now. Is this set up the max pull back and rise using stock cables and wires? I want to go 10" pull backs with hi bend bars on a 2018 thanks
How about doing the same but in a 18-19’ model I’d like to see how you do it before I order mine lol .. will 10” with the tracker low bar work with stock cables on the 19’ street bob and I’m curious about the gauge relocation kit 😁

Using your video before swapping out the 13" T bars on my 2018 Street Bob I bought to a set of 2014 Road King bars I bought and now looking for Harley risers to go from the direct T bar mount to a riser. Don't the rubber bar mount "cushions" reduce vibration thru the handle bars? instead of the hard mount bushings?
Would I be able to put these risers on an 02 Low Rider?

When we made this video years ago we were not manufacturing our own risers yet. Steps are still the same.

I have a 2007 harley dyna and I would like to get these bars on it. Would I need new longer cables for it or not?

Late to the convo, I noticed y'all did not replace any of the wiring or cables. I would think adding a few inches to the bar height would require new cables and wires. Am I wrong?
Depending on the model you are able to go up to a certain height without having to change out cables. On most FXDB models you can go up to a 12" tbar or bar riser combo without having to change anything.

I just bought a 2007 Dyna Super Glide with the same size stock bars you had. The only difference with my bike is a bar mounted speedometer. If i ran the same riser on my bike would I have enough wire for speedo?
Nope you’ll need to extend the harness for the speedo, my 09 had 6” bars so I have to extend everything

No the 2018 Street Bob is Throttle By Wire. Biltwell will be releasing some bars with Throttle By Wire very soon.

You can fit up to 12" on stock cables.

Yes you can use the stock throttle tube or upgrade to the Biltwell tube.

Those biltwell grips last about a year until the ribs start peeling off. Went through two sets and decided never to buy that POS produsct again..
They are $20..... they aren’t supposed to last forever. Grips wear out. We change ours ever couple months. Treat yo self!
