Thanks for a great follow up Neil. What an emotional experience, it just goes to show that money and big mansions are far from everything in life. It doesn't bring permanent happiness. When you lose a partner that is what really matters and life is all about love being together enjoying family and friends and everything else is just materialistic. The poor lady must have been so heart broken, but you will always have memories to treasure forever.

It's surreal to see something that was once so full of life and happiness so broken down and decayed. It gives me the impression of an increasingly faint and distorted echo. I wonder why they abandoned the place. Maybe there was a tragedy that made them unable to live somewhere that reminded them so much of how things used to be. I also wonder if someone who lived there is still alive, or if the memories of that place are gone forever.

I just love this place. It is so sad that all those memories are left behind. What love she must have had for her husband to just up and leave everything after he passed. It is so sad to see places like this in this kind of condition. I love all the furnishings and the photos. Thank you for going again.

WOW the beginning of the video. Showing the front of the house with the most lovely music to go with it. You have good taste in music. Beautiful. I can't believe that she left and did not want to take anything with her. & The house would have been a lovely house when all those lovely things were in their right tidy places. Not even any family wanted anything or no family. Sad. & the beautiful sweet cheerful paintings of the babies just left there too. I saw the video when you explored it before. & I remember. Thanks for this video. It's great.

Abandoned Explorer what I think a bout the woman that use to lived in this house the way you showed about this place when you first went here I seen your first time you showed it on your channel .the way it looks that the woman is also died too because if you think about it children are very important to a mother and would not just get up and leave some sentimental things about her babies photos on plates I think they are both dead. because I think you said the first time the house was going to be sold. thank you for this video I enjoyed it the second time a round as well God Bless you.

At one point they were rent apartments, that is why all the beds and belongings. Recently all of the stuff, china, clothes, personal belongings etc were cleared out by someone. So this place was basically picked clean! Very little is left.
The 'furnace' in the cellar is a well. We have a mansion in Salford (Ordsall Hall) and they have one there.
Need to take someone with you, that does EVP's! and do there!!
I was there today. The place has been pretty much emptied! Cars are destroyed and the house is in disrepair. Hardly anything there now. Shame people have ransacked the place
It appears to me that the house was abandoned somewhere between the 1980’s to 90’s. But I’m from the US so perhaps the lifestyles back then were very different.

Looking at both videos it appears someone else has been and rummaged around as some things have been moved or not there anymore such a shame and the fact it’s all going to be damaged through decay

You say a few times that this house has changed your life. Explain why? I saw a bedpan, they used to put coals in there, put them between the sheets of your bed and when you went to bed you had a warm bed.
The village magazine has the year 2000 on it... could she of left around then? She is still the legal owner of the property and is apparently 85 years old

Crikes, there seems to be at least a million quids worth of antiques just left lying all over the shop.
In the cellar it looks like a natural spring well with a pump on to supply the house with water

Makes me so sad to see all the owners things just left to rot, they obviously loved cats as there are so many cat pictures and ornaments around the house so why didn’t they donate all the vases and antiques to a cat charity shop? Very sad situation. Great video though. So has the house been sold now?
Open dwarers,,perces medicine cabinets,, thats what they clean out frist when leaving plus that everyone wants to see everything,, thankyou,, open everything ,,clothes tells alot,,you gys are awesome,, the reason you are feeling how you would feel if it was all yours,,you gys are very respectfull and yet have a great personalty,, l mrwould love to be there and hold things ,and look,, this was a happy place ,at one time and it drawes you back,,great find and not all is lost,,you gys are kepting it alive,, great work,,,,,,,!,,, carefull of mold,, lf l was rich l wwould try to bye the whole thing,, and take months 5to go through,,sometimes you can bye all whats inside,, l promise you would come out ahead, pretty soon there well be nothing left,, open the suit cases,,awesome,,,,l do remember the frist film,,

Abandoned Explorer British soldiers use to bring stuff like that back from the war as memrobilea, the colour looks like a officer not a regular soldier and any signs of rank or honors look like they've been stripped from it, that's quite common, to find one complete with rank is exceptionally rare

Even if the lady didn't want anything, you think other family members would want some of that stuff.
For that matter, if she was pressed for money she could have made a nice profit selling most of that stuff, a lot of it looks like antiques, heck, the car's seen in the first video would have probably given her a nice profit to live off of for a while.

She probably hoarded a lot of stuff. And animals and nature took over.
A lot of stuff missing since the last time, place has also been trashed in places. Why can't people leave things as the find them? "Take NOTHING but pictures / videos, leave NOTHING but footprints!"
I enjoy it but you know what how much money are there in term of objects and antics object....! All those plate, cups, the piano,....... etc grabs some of them...

Are these places abandoned enuf to purchase from the state? I can't believe the woman had no living relatives close or not that would allow this beauty of a home to become so dilapidated. I wonder if one could just pay all the back taxes and purchase it? I would thats for sure. I would be moving!!
That house if brought i reckon would have enough in there antiques wise to be sold off and pay for its renovation. In the video before people in the comments section was pointing out items that could have had serious value to them shame to see that one day the place will be probably knocked down and the history lost
