- To join the Alpha:
Right click Soulstone Survivors in Steam Library.
Go to properties.
Click Betas.
On the right side click the drop down and select Alpha

As per the patch notes you only need to have all weapons unlocked for the new weapon resource sink. You dont need to have the characters skill trees fully unlocked. Which is awesome!!

This game is insane. First time I see an indie company actually working full time on maintaining a game.
I agree. They still have many more characters to implement and more for us before even going into 1.0. Every update brings so much more content to play as well. It is awesome.

@@minegagadoli it really isn't. Most indie games that get worked on constantly are 1-3 person team projects. Larger teams actually working full time on a project are usually blatant lies or exaggerations.
@@RaduOprina not really, you are just generalizing(let me guess, you are referring to the few kickstart scams that happens over the years) and soulstone survivors have a standard size team, the majority of popular indie games are either a big team already or they grow over time to keep the maintenance of the game
Like BTD6, Hades, Terraria, Risk of Rain, Dont starve, Slime rancher, a hat in time, cuphead, dungeon defenders, coromon, monster prom and many others
Pretty kickass update. Glad there is a new class, but my fave new feature is the damage recount that shows passives--always wanted to know how the passive dots were doing!
I forgot to mention that actually. I feel so many people were asking for it so the devs finally added it in!!
Just a small thing - please for your next videos try to click on the book icon at the end of the gameplay (bottom left) so that we see all your choices. I watch all your videos but usually only the start + end to see what I should build.
I will do my best to remember that. It's added material gained and the passives to that bottom left icons now. I don't often look there so I might forget in the beginning until it becomes habit

Another use case for the achievement search: couple weeks ago I started a new save, because much of the game has changed since it released, so I was curious, what it would feel like for a new player.
Then, of course, I was already used to some of the gameplay mechanics (specifically: runic power) so I was trying to figure out what I needed to do to get the full amount. This would have been a lot easier with a search field.
Runic power is not really the best example since it's relatively easy to find currently, but if I wanted to search for a specific spell, which I might not even remember which character it belongs to, it could save a ton of time.
This is my point exactly. Finding how to unlock specific runes or spells or even a character to even help others if possible
I think a search feature would be a great addition for newbs to ignore and ask anyways that a few people would use to answer their questions because they didn't look the first time

dont worry its very easy, you hover over anything ingame and it tells you where u get it from or explains it
@nerfranger7459 true however people don't know which runes are which when they all locked so it's easier to just ask than search for it themselves. Which I don't mind but I don't always remember exact details myself sometimes haha

Haha let's not even get started on the AAA industry. I love indie devs because majority of them love working with their communities. We are blessed to have developers like these around
@@BrokensPlayz yeah bro, i used to play only aaa games for so long... But lately over time, it doesnt even feel right anymore. Controversy here and there, bad optimisation, mtx everywhere, shitty gameplay... Sure from time to time i go to likes of elden Ring, but 70% od my playtime are these smaller games like last epoch, Hades, soulstone survivor which i get for a fraction of aaa price... Gaming industry went to hell somehow

I don't think so. I'm not sure how stable it would be. The game would have to make us a lot weaker and slower for multi-player which people didn't like
Adding multiplayer to game that didn't planned to do it since the start is near impossible, so the chances are very low
