However Dutchess has to own up to a lot of things she has done as well! The crew and people didnt make you do everything you did on the show!

She just stated she comes from a healthy two parent home, a college graduate, not into dysfunction, she stands up for herself, a business woman, doesn't want to be in a destructive environment for a paycheck, has morals. The other cast members have serious major dysfunction, drug, alcohol and destructive behavior. Experiencing pain and being emotional isn't craziness. That's part of the reason for her pain, is being falsely labeled as crazy. She deeper and more than just a tattoo artist, She has character.

She is so right, they will paint the worse picture ever. I like dutchess but just because she went to college and gad a 2 parent home doesn't make her bettet than anyone else. There are plenty of one parent homes whose chikdren exceeded very well whethet in college ir in acting. She should nit b talking about her old cast members now that she is not with them any more. Remember its her role she gaf to play its only a reality show. And for her to say nobody else on the show was stronget than her then y did she leave instead of sticking it out. I like and don’t like Duchess.What I do like is she’s smart and strong.What I don’t like is she seems to put others down to build herself up and she seems to want to hang on to a victim mentality.Duchess needs to grow beyond that story and really live and act as if her life is as blessed as she says it is.Because from personal experience I know once you are over something and really free you don’t still want to talk about the old issues and you don’t feel the need to keep explaining yourself.You really feel no need to do that.I think she still wants and loves Ceasar but she doesn’t want to go back to his lifestyle or the people that surround him.Shes gonna have to come to terms with this situation and put it away.

When we know she only did that shit to get back at Sky for whatever reason, but wanna act as if she didn’t do anything for them to keep bringing her name back up. She does this to herself with her evil ways
True indeed Kelly Joseph! True indeed!! Very happy to see anyone who is successful in their journey to becoming a better version of themselves. But TRUTH about self...ones own role in who they were/are throughout every leg of that journey is Key. Dutchess sat on that sofa and spoke more than a few untruths about her role in all that transpired during and immediately following her tenure on Black Ink Crew. From her initiating physical altercations with other Black Women on the show, to sexing multiple men from the shop- to engaging on oral sex with a woman on the show then lying about it, and her obsessive incessant toxic tweets/IG for a full year after she departed the show.
Now that she has chosen to live the life that her parents raised her to live- she wants to publicly belittle, and malign, those on the show whose behavior mirrored her own bad behavior? Nope- not cool at all! How many out of wedlock pregnancies did she have while with Ceaser -2? Had either or both been successful pregnancies- she like the Mothers/Fathers of her former cast members, would have been - A Single Mother too!
Wishing her well. I do however pray that she stops speaking disparagingly about her former castmates. Cause there are far too many out here that know the truth of her on the Black Ink Set.

Dutchess is a fighter. And she is great. That show put her in a negative light. She is beautiful and strong and independent. Perfectly flawed. She is evolving and that's all that matters. And she WAS different than the rest on the show because she was from the south. Totally different culture. Southerners are timid when it comes to dealing with northerners. Girl, even the most well rounded kids can can be destructive, and a child from broken home can be become well rounded and successful. Its about the choices you make. Dutchess is no Angel. However I do agree with her deciding to leave a toxic environment. Just own up to your participation in the tomfoolery. I wish her much success.

What's sad is at one point she lowered her standards for a man who didn't respect her level of beauty and brains. She's now at a place where she had to climb from a valley up the mountain and is conquering it. To me, Dutchess have always been GREATER than the dysfunction of Black Ink. Would she have the success that she have today if it wasn't for them? Maybe not. But there's nothing wrong with her using that platform VH1 gave her to be where she is today. Keep going Dutchess! I have an completely different view than most of the people in the comments but I have seen how vicious she can be first hand on the show. Producers didnt make her lie to people...they didnt make her talk about peoples miscarriages...or downgrading other black people on the show because they didnt have the same resources as her to get an education or have an two parent home. She used the blessing God gave her as weapons to down other black people on the show. I don't think anyone should be calling her name or threatening her but she need to take ownership that she was no angel and her action were the problem. Producers gave her the gun but she was the one who shot it of her free will. I hope that she really change but someone as toxic as she was I don't believe she has but I pray for the best for her.

She had a choice, she CHOSE to agree to play the character they gave her. Once her and Ceaser relationship went sour, THEN she blames production that they edited episodes to portray her a certain way. But at the end of the day, SHE COULD HAVE LEFT AT ANY TIME TO AVOID IT ALL. Reality tv isn't real reality, but she have to accept the role she took in them even being able to portray her negatively in the first place.
Sir Izzon and them checks are reality too, act or no act you know what your getting yourself into. That's the reality.
