Principles for watercolor rain scene - Simple and easy

- It’s almost inevitable not to think about rainy scenery with watercolor. Since watercolor is such a natural medium to interpret wetness, it is the subject that I wanted to paint when I started learning watercolor. I do have a couple of rainy scenery painting videos on this channel, but today I want to talk a bit more about the principles for painting a rainy street scene.

Thanks Eric, this time I learned ( again) that we need patience to adjust the values after each layer has dried. The fading means we can lose depth sometimes.

This is a very nice painting but the title does say rain and I don't see any actual rainfall. The scene in the video is after the rainfall has finished. Do you have any videos where you paint actual active raining scenes where you see the rain? Thank you very much.
