Hader sure is throwing a lot more pitches in a game now since 2019…hopefully the IL bug or arm fatigue doesn’t catch up to him but, it’s obvious the astros are desperate for any win and that’s why they can’t afford to lose any key batter or give them more days off

@@Andrew-kx2ek Yes, he was unwilling to pitch longer than one inning per game before, because teams wouldn't offer him a multi-year contract.
Now that he has that contract, he is willing to pitch more than one inning if need be.
Estevez blew it once again
Needed this win after Framber blowing the game yesterday if we would have lost this game the momentum we gained would have been squashed.
Pena with the game winning run was great to see he continues his strong year.
Singleton his continues to produce at 1B as he tied the game with his 400 plus foot blast
Myeres is back into form and continues to rack up hits.
Kyle Tucker not much to say about him he continues to have a monster year he is right now the front runner for AL MVP in my opinion
This was a nice gusty win and hopefully we close it out with a series win tomorrow

At the beginning of this 10-game homestand, I said the Astros had to go at least 7-3 in order for things to start looking good. Mission Accomplished.
So in 9 games the astros began with a 6.5 GB in the division and are now at 5.0 GB….so lets see, that would only be a 1.5 GB improvement…yup, “mission accomplished”! 😂
@@Andrew-kx2ek 5 games at this point in the season is almost nothing honestly. I give the Mariners credit for not folding quickly.
BUT if you want to get technical, the Astros are only 3.5 games back of the Wild Card. Not ideal to say that, but a far cry from the 9 games they were behind in those standings 2 weeks ago.
Astros heat up in June so I expect them to take the division next month

Because Chas has sucked all season and comes back from his rehab assignment and strikes out twice and hit into a double play. He should have stayed in the minors.
