I know it’s somewhat true for everyone but I don’t know if it’s me that it does to this degree… but if you play certain music, it takes me back to certain parts of my life like certain ages, not necessarily exact momentS.

I did 200 dollars today on Spark
I always end off with "Thank you for choosing Uber! Your order is appreciated! Have a nice day! :)" Uber doesn't always allow photos in the chat so I take a photo with the camera feature on my phone and then label with customer info. I keep them for a couple weeks and then when nothing happens - I delete it. I also write all the information for the customer on the back of the receipt (from Shop & Pay) in case I need to reference it or in case something happens - I can still deliver the order. Heather xo

I saw a new feature on uber eats where the customer can take a pic of their house or building to add to the directions you would get. I really like it. A lot of people pass us up bc we are in the country and easy to miss. I have really good instruction too but a lot of people miss a turn before our house.

Idk if it was nationwide, but DD used to do the deliveries for Walmart in my area, I REJOYCED when the broke their partnership & started doing their deliveries through Spark. Orders were NEVER ready on time, it would say a certain # of items but what that really meant were the estimated # of their plastic totes it would fit in, & there was no indicators for large or heavy items, it was a total crap shoot. A lot of people would refuse to go near Walmart because you would just get a deluge of awful orders 😓
Here it’s Uber Eats that does that; it says one item meaning the entire order!! So you have NO CLUE how big it is. And it’s usually for next to nothing (although I have occasionally done a decent offer here and there).
Off topic, but I’ve wanted to ask this for a long time: was musical theatre your jam in high school or before the kids? You have such a lovely voice and fluid body movements!!

If you were on Spark 4 years ago, you could easily pull 2K a week (with Spark alone). It is so bad these days. The incentives aren't even worth it.
Do you know what happened? Did it just get too many drivers?
@@ADORNEDBYCHERICEtoo many drivers, and they started batching orders in 3’s…with very long distance drop offs and no-tip customers. It’s gotten really bad lately. There are good days, but the bad days out number them these days.

Fountain drinks were always my least favorite part of pizza delivery back when I did that. To this day if I order food delivery I never order fountain drinks they should pay you extra for that.

When I was about 25 my trainer said CYA CYA CYA Hard Copy Hard Copy Hard Copy while banging on the desk. I can still 'see' her doing it. To this day I live by this motto and make copies of important paperwork. A lot of places like to "lose" their paperwork.
I do spark. My biggest paying order was over 35 dollars for 3 deliveries fir 10 miles. Very busy this week July 1st to the 3rd, but I switch location because of the illegal immigrants scam. Yes it is on you tube a few videos. They ,steal, rent accounts, have multiple phones, or accounts. They have 1 or 2 drivers while others go to the shopping or get a delivery. I have called support to report this problem.
Is that who delivers for Walmart groceries orders? I don’t do any kind of deliveries but I always have groceries delivered from Walmart on the Walmart app and I wonder who does the deliveries.
I do Spark and Instacart and Spark has been a bigger money maker than Instacart. I learned the apartments in my town to know what to take when orders come through as heavy. But I prefer shop and take as many as I can. I usually do between $80-100+ in 3 hrs!! I do the pickup only too, but I pick and choose when I do that (ONLY WHEN I GET INCENTIVES...USUALLY $4 PER ORDER) Usually I do get additional pay for the 15 min wait, so my $12 start usually ends up being $20-22 for 30 min of time cause the employees usually bring the order out right after I get the additional wait pay. So it's worth it if you pick and choose. But again I prefer shopping. I have only canceled once and got $16.08 and for the canceled order after 30 min.
I saw videos about the “newcomers” scam with Spark. They sit around in the lot with cold & frozen items waiting for their driver to pick up! How Walmart doesn’t see this on their Video Surveillance cameras is beyond me.
@TiredEmpath Are you saying they take the order and someone else delivers? I have not heard of this? I know at my location there are a few people who sit in the walmart parking lot waiting for orders, which I sit waiting for spark and instacart orders at kroger and corner of Walmart. I used sit in the park but tmobile sucks and I now have no service in the park or surrounding areas. 🙄

The Spark problems you experienced that day with orders not being started were all the results of the app issues the notification warned about. The problem lasted for about two days in certain areas.
Taco Bell needs to turn that sign around, that says Don't forget the drink, so the employees see it.

Spark in my area seems to have better offers early in the morning. Fewer drivers competing I guess.
You definitely need to learn what times of day is best for the zone you work the most. I have two zones that I can work pretty well but the time of day & days of week for the better offers differ drastically. Both of these zones have at least four Walmart a piece.
That deal with Spark is what happens when the app is messing up unfortunately.

Ugh I got three requests today that were high paying only to show up at one restaurant and have them say the order did not exist, another said it had been picked up already, and the last was a massive expected tip for three tacos which I was too skeptical of I ended up canceling. I doubt someone would pay $70 for three tacos from Taco Bell. What a waste?!

I watch you deliver all the things you do and I still can't believe it sometimes. I wanted to stop by a chic fil a today, as u was on an adventure, miles away from home. Still couldn't get myself to do it. I had just paid 16 bucks for a cheeseburger, fries , soda earlier for lunch.
UE if something is not available I couldn’t figure out how to contact the client just one item to see if they wanted a replacement. Called support and they canceled the whole order. I’m not sure how they handle that they may not have understood me. Both of their subs were done just the tuna salad.
Your day is like a few of mine where I told myself I should have stayed home lol! Then there are the hurry up and wait days!!

This happened to me today, offer said ASAP however it was being shopped when I arrived. I called support and put in a complaint. Why lie and say ASAP.

This happened to me that day with Spark. The app was messing up that day.
My DoorDash along with the tablets in the restaurants that I’ve been waiting in all get that same noise. When it dings at the diner, I literally look down at my phone. 😂
15 miles for $22?? Not on your life unless I’m wanting to go that way for something else…

I agree. Plus Spark has heavy crap to pick-up & deliver.
I can’t get any spark orders in my area, chatted with driver support and she couldn’t understand why I couldn’t get any around me either considering there are FIFTY stores to service. All the stores I get offers for are minimum of 15 miles from me, but most are 25 miles.
I've discovered with door dash and a pizza hut in my market, door dash never gets the times right. It tells me tongo right away and I'm always waiting at least 10 minutes. Then I experience the same with uber and walmart. Get there and have to wait wait wait
Walmart sucks when you do the car pickup. Petco can suck too.

❤ thank God that you are up on the orders on drinks because a lot of the workers like to forget about it and people paid for it and you would get the blame and Walmart spark is not that great as to having to be on a waiting list to work for them, it's great that you have at least 3 choices to work from a hit or miss in each one of them l love it why you get great orders and tips 🙏❤️
I had already noticed you had started blanking out the names that you were picking up for which is a good thing with everything that’s been going on…. But before you mentioned going to deliver to the rehab, I was especially happy for that fact. 😂 not laughing at anybody and it could be any kind of rehab, physical or chemical, but the point is it wouldn’t have been cool with a name attached. Good job mama.
I love those amazing customers! The company on the other hand upping their base by 50 whole cents…. when I was sure they must’ve upped it to four dollars for that large order for base pay- no comment, since I don’t want to be deactivated. 🤣

You probably have to do X amount of orders for spark before they rate you like Uber eats.
Spark warned you of app issues but you still logged in... the large volume of orders were because of the issues. 😅
