I will admit I love the beginning of this movie. Samara Weaving is a phenomenal actress, and the dress she is wearing that yellow dress is spectacular on her.
one of my fave movies in the scream franchise, alongside the original & scream 4. the standout performances for me were jenna ortega, melissa barrera & liana liberato. they all slayed 😊✨
Ok but 32:39 was literally my reaction in the theater during the ladder scene. Ghost Face was so sadistic for shaking the ladder like that. I wanted to be like “girl just fall!” because the tension was stressing me out 😂

This is now my third favorite movie in the scream franchise. Rodger L Jackson killed it as always. The core four are loveable, New York plays a big role unlike Jason takes Manhattan, brutal kills what more do you want from a scream movie. I can't wait for part 7
Also the scene where sam said about her being hated. that was actually a conversation the “core 4” all had in real life after the backlash she had for her performance in 5 (which wasn’t even that bad )

That makes me so sad that she was affected by it so much. People were awful about her performance in 5, she really shut them up with this one and I couldn’t be happier for her!
GREAT reaction! Brandy is doing a horror movie again and this time it will be with A24 called "The Front Room". Hopefully she'll be known as a Black scream Queen again

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. Quinn's Ghostface performance was AMAZING. She's such a hot Ghostface and I love Liana :D. Jenna's such a babe and Chad & Tara are so cute as a couple. As long as Tara's alive I don't think Sam will ever give in. Notice how when Sam was looking at Billy's costume, almost in a trance then Tara came into play bringing Sam back, "what are you doing?" Then at the end when Sam was looking at her father's mask, Tara broke her trance again, "Sam, you coming?" I love the sister dynamic and you really feel for both sisters and understand Tara wanting Sam to let her go and Sam being the overprotective big sister. This is my second favorite Scream movie. I'm really glad Chad survived because I'm tired of Scream always just killing the guys off. But with Joel being the unofficial father of the twins, WAS Chad using Joel's Camera when he was fighting Ghostface? O.O.
I loveee this reaction. You are literally me in the theaters. I called the cop being a killer since I saw the trailer with him in it and all the crime scene evidence in one room. Only a cop could get access to these things and I called the roommate. Ngl they threw me off when she “died”.
Love this movie it’s so good it’s an improvement over 5 cause I did like 5 but I didn’t love it but 6 had sm to love. This franchise has not missed for me whatsoever I love all these movies. I can’t wait to see these characters in scream 7.

I enjoyed Scream 6 so much! It’s high up on my scream ranking I will watch it over and over again even though I will never get over Anika’s death because she deserved better! 😭 That intro took me by surprise too but I LOVED IT! It’s in my top three favorite scream openings! The kills were insane and the chase scenes! The subway and ladder scene stressed me the fuck out you have no idea! The whole cast looked so fabulous especially Danny he was fine and Chad too👀 Tara and Chad didn’t know they end up together but I love it and I will forever approve of it😭❤️ I’m so glad you enjoyed it even though you were traumatized the kills were so brutal man and you got the killers right too I literally couldn’t trust anyone in the movie 👀😂
I am convinced that Jason and Greg were a couple. Seeing this movie in theatres, it was so fun. Now it is one of my scream films! I am so happy the core 4 survived!

YASSS!! I was waiting for this, Chuu! This movie was so frickin' good. I actually screamed when I saw that it had dropped yesterday. It was a great watch. Better than 5, IMO. And Melissa! She came to show out in this one. Her performance was so much better than before and I was really happy about that. The cast was on point as usual. It might be my 3rd or 4th favorite in the franchise.

The New York Setting (Even though they filmed this in Canada) Definitely helped With that. And The Twists and turns and the Kills Were Everything, This Film Had Me On The Edge Of My seat. Heartbeating And scared

Anika’s death for me is number 2 just below Casey’s death. It was her first encounter with Ghostface, she already received a wound on her stomach basically getting opened, then they were chased around the apartment while she was bleeding out, was mentally tortured when crossing the ladder from fear of heights and Ghostface toying with her before falling to her death, smashing her head on the dumpster and breaking her neck
I literally watched this yesterday and screamed wit joy when I get on YT & see you reviewed it too! I was so excited to see how correct you were with some of the characters. Ughh I freaking love you lol
I really liked this Scream movie, but I thought it had the weakest killer reveal. Understand the parallels with this and Billy's mom being the killer in Scream 2, but eh. Lol. Loved how brutal it was, both ways, cause Sam is a beast when needed! Also, I can't tell if you're aware that the Scream directors made Ready or Not. When I watched it I didn't notice the girl in the train station dressed as Grace, nice catch!
Yes!!! Scream and Evil Dead never disappoint. You'll have to watch Evil Dead Rise when it comes to streaming. I've seen it twice and I LOVED it and think you will too!! Warning it is very gorey like all of the Evil Dead movies.

Damn, you were on their ass good. I said Quinn and Ethan first too but when Quinn "died" I dropped it and then when Mindy was stabbed I wrote Ethan off the suspect list. I switched the main killer to Sam's new boyfriend and his accomplice was Quinn's dad because of all the crazy evidence in the shrine that Gale found. Like there's no way a regular person could collect all those knives, masks, and clothing from all the crime scenes unless they were a cop. This is hands down my favorite scary movie franchise. My order is 1,2, 6, 4, 5, and 3 so yeah 6 is definitely in my top 3.

Brandy was in the IKWYDLS sequel as a sidekick, but she was never a scream queen. She definitely could be one if the A24 movie does well.
