Nice one. I used a Nanuk (910) and did just cut the supplied foam. Mine isn’t for taking around so the rough edges are mine to live with. Great options these.
Nanuk is a great company. I recently got the 904 watch case for my 3 watch collection from a distributor of a Canadian company that makes custom foam inserts. I find it to be much better than Pelican cases, especially the overall design and features.
Did you find out which one is the big (18watch slots) orange one featured in lot of the watch videos? I tried to search through Pelican, Nanuk and so on, but all of them seemed bit different.
Will the foam holders squeeze down small enough to hold watches sized for smaller wrists? I would like to keep both my watches and my girlfriend’s watches in the same box.
Can you close the case without it crushing the watches, does thid fit thicker watches like diesel and Richard mille / tsar bomba watches Are tge pillows securely in their places or does it wiggle
No, it's not! It's very cheap material that is going to break down very quickly and be unusable. Do not buy this cheap foam type material. You will regret it.
My problem with these type cases are that the foam materials are so damn cheap! They are not very durable at all. This cheap material will fall apart very quickly. It is not worth the money.

It closes fine and wiggles a little depending on the size of the watch.

Man it’s been years and it doesn’t have a brand, she bought it from Amazon.
How do you like the foam? I read some companies use foam that’s a bit abrasive and scratch the watches.

Yeah, that's why you should get Guard Dog Foam Inserts.
I used pelican cases with foam inserts in the military and never had issues with it falling apart.
