- Erica Synths are well known for their Fusion modules which give you vacuum tube designs in the Eurorack world. The Erica Synths Fusion System 2 is a full vacuum tube eurorack system that has been redesigned from the ground up.
The Fusion System 2 is a 104HP Eurorack system that encompases three new Fusion series modules - Fusion VCF3, Fusion Modulator (already available) and Fusion VCA/Waveshaper/Ringmodulator (available from June 5th). With an all analogue CV path and 63 patch points the system gives you everything you need to start designing your own sounds.
We spoke to Girts to get an idea of the system but also some wider questions about how Erica Synths are able to release and manufacture so many different instruments!

I am pleased that Girts explained what tubes are for and NOT for in this video. So many people mistakenly think that tubes make great oscillators. 😂
The Erica Synths label is certainly a fantastic force in the synth industry. It is wonderful to see a team so enthusiastic about making high quality products, pioneering new technologies and sounds in that direction. I do wish Girt and his team all the best with their endeavour.
It would also be preferable to have more companies move their manufacturing operations to such countries which have quality assurance. Knowing a number of people who deal with manufacturing in China this is one of the hardest things to implement, and yet it seems to be a natural part of manufacturing in Latvia, at least at Erica Synths.

@@tarekmansur it's warm! Also the challenge of taking something that could be used to make harsh music, and going the complete different direction. It's great for warm textured sounds. Especially when you're running through a huge pa system! :D

@@aeko 1000 days, requiem, and it's on downtime cult, but I use a few other things as well, I have a 1200+ hp eurorack, and 44U 5U system.

Sounds great and i do have several modules with tubes - sound massive and not only for dark and hard noice or techno. Fantastic instrument!

Transistors are voltage controlled and valves are current controlled and this sounds demon controlled. I love the sounds on the demo bit.

This sounds like it looks, dark. Erica makes great modules. Even their Pico modules are big. I'm however wherry curious about the sequencer they are working on. Any news about the progress there? Another Sequencer that seems to take much longer time than expected is the one for Mordax Data. Something about sequencers that makes them really really hard to get right I guess..
