If a Jaguar can kill a gator irl, its safe to assume a grown Omni would be able to kill a smaller deino like that in the game. that deino wasnt even full grown

So instead of fixing desync, server crashes, and broken hit boxes that made omni so difficult, they turned the heavily skilled based dino (that on the current branch is capable of killing anything if careful and coordinated) into have 2 players press rmb and everyone spam bite to win in 30 seconds

main version of the game is the same way its broken i was a solo cera saw some omnis and thought nothing of it then i got pounced while i was running to run that omni into a tree another omni pounced me and pinned me and i was dead before their stam ran out so 2 omnis pouncing/pinnig a cera is a for sure kill wish is ridiculous
If devs are smart this broken pounce is not for omni but maybe something bigger but they can test it now using omni. With The Isle team it just can be broken tho
What is the exact condition for pinning? IMO the weight of the pouncers combined should be close to or exceed the pounced dino for it to trigger the pinned state.
Another example of the devs fucking solo players and the stam over. How boring to just be able to flatten an opponent when it's low on stam. No skill involved
You can pin heavier dinos now. If the dino is low on stam, it can be pinned easier, or if the dino is pounced by multiple raptors they can be pinned. It is a pounce based grapple that removes all skill from playing raptor

A travelling deino is still in a bad place if it comes across a stego, ceras or carnos. it's perfectly fair that it's vulnerable when travelling
@@wolfella5793 I've got a FG that's been alive since Jun 1st. He's killed over 30 dinos so far, and just survived his 3rd Canni attempt. Surviving 2 different FGs. It takes critical thinking to survive in this game, walking across the map with no awareness of your surroundings is not critical thinking. Getting jumped by Omnis is an unfortunate possiblity in this game. You know you can die at anytimr by anything, that's Survival of The Fittest.

I feel like MOST people don't SEE the reason for the devs adding this feature, for Omni unless you're in the 30% of TI community it's pretty much impossible for you to kill even a mid tier dino like carno or cera so obviously the devs needed a way to make Omni feel like a TRUE pack hunter and reward it in a massive becs having 6 omnies ALL be coordinated at the same time BEFORE the victim just SIMPLY goes into a tree or a pool is VERY VERY hard and the VAST majority of TI don't play on voice chat nor are highly skilled players like the YTbers that you see 'easily' killing carnos, ceras or even stegos. Is it OP as hell ABSOLUTELY, should it be HEAVILY reworked ABSOLUTELY and that's the POINT of the goddamn horde test it doesn't MATTER that it smh passed QA at this stage, what matters is us helping the devs for it to not be OP and giving feedback to make this not be a HEAVY WIP which even the devs admitted.
