GREEN MOSS AGATE!!! Jackpot Agate Rock Hunt

- I hit the Agate jackpot during this rockhounding adventure! I have never before found a Green Moss Agate as large and colorful as this one....and then I found a smaller one! This rock hunt was extensive and I had to make a hike back to my jeep to drop off some finds and get my back up water bottle. I'll never forget some of these gorgeous rocks...wow!

That was just absolutely insane! 😱 This one deserves a solid 10 just for how epic it was. It really can't get any better.... Im serious!! This spot just seems 100x better than all the other spots on that river. I'm pretty sure already knew that! 💯
Last year I was in Billings on business and had the opportunity to hunt rocks on the Yellowstone 7 or 8 times. I went back a month later with my wife and we spent 3 days hunting rocks. I brought back about 600 pounds of rocks (yep, that is accurate because I weighed them) but my top 15 rocks from all of those hunts can't compare to your top 15 rocks from this hunt. You have a phenomenal eye. My wife and I love the excitement that you show when you find a great rock - it is genuine and infectious. Keep on doing what you're doing, we love your channel.

Let me start by saying that you are an absolute Gem ❤ I've only just come across your channel 2 days ago and I'm absolutely hooked! I've binge watched your videos for the past 6 hours now. I love that you are so enthusiastic and mesmerized with Earths' glorious treasures as much as I am. The only difference is that your Earths' treasures are on a much grander scale than mine are. If I were to find something even half as glorious as even one of your "mid range" finds, I'd most certainly, scream, jump up and down, pace, give anyone near me the hardest high fives ever, and then pass out from too much adrenaline.
You have a great gift with spotting these delightful beauties! Your gorgeous pup has a gift for catching frogs (then spitting them out). He seams to be the best rockhounding/frog catching partner ever 😅 What a darling he is! Give him a good scratching and a hug from me, please/thank you!

Jules, thank you for making me smile with your comment. I am so much like you...I want to give anyone and everyone high fives and the adrenaline just wipes me out after!!!! I want to run up to the nearest person I find and say, "omg look at what I just found!" The hours fly by....I don't want to stop to eat, food takes extra room in my pack that the rocks need! Wow! Those all were such amazing finds! So many cool agates and jaspers and moss agates, and pertrified woods! Its just crazy! So many gorgeous rocks!!! Those beautiful colorful jaspers and the beautiful plumey ones too! And the green moss agates too? How amazing! Just so, so many gorgeous rocks! My favorite Montana rockhound does it again 😁. Ones at 11:00 and 24:00 were my favorites....if I had to pick. All amazing finds. The jaspers you find are much better than the ketchup n mustard jaspers I find around Lake Michigan. Thanks for another great video. 🤘😁

Fantastic! Thank you Rock Mom...looked like it was a bit chilly. I love the Montana agates and it's a bucket list adventure to do. Spent some time in the great state of Montana in 2015 on a genealogical expedition to Ft. Benton, great place, great state, I loved it there.
