Welcome to my 2000km trip with an 1977 Yamaha XT 500 from Antwerp, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Harwich, Norwich, Leicester, Brecon Beacons national park, Cardiff, Bristol, Eastbourne, Dover, Calais, Antwerp
Oh god I want an XT500 so much! Just waiting for the right one to come along. The ones for £8k plus remain unsold for months it seems - but the sellers seem to think that's what they are worth.....
Very nice trip & video !! But your engine was suffering too much , bad boy you can't do that with a 16/42 , bring a 14t sprocket in the bag , it is easy and rapid to change and you can enjoy little off-roads much more next time !!
Amazing Journey

Yeah you are right, should have brought one. Thanks for the tip!
Sehr schön !
The tank and side covers look like from a 1976 model.
Yeah it is, but the bike is from 1977. But I liked the stickers of the 76 much more :)
@@airsoftdutch2000 Good choice. I still have my '76 and ride it . I bought mine in 1980.
@@James-dt7ky nice! I only have it for a few years. I restored it in lockdown period, I still have to make the video of the rebuild tho..
