Nah the aloe plant is the moisturizer/treatment. Put the aloe in after you wash it
How many wicks do you have? I’m about to turn my dreads into wicks. My self I’m thinking about 10 wicks
I had 8 wicks but tune it i started over this time im taking everyone with me through the journey

Does it flake up?
You may see alot of little aloe flakes in your hair but thats totally fine once your hair is soaked in the aloe
