- mr. nawab shafath ali khan, who is probably the only licensed hunter in india to have witnessed the era of legal hunting in the country, eals the present day crises on tiger conservation having lived most of his life in the jungle of south india one of the most richly blessed areas in wildlife in the subcontinent he dwells in considerable detail on the reasons that are propelling the indian tiger to extinction.

I have read many books on hunting, Jim Corbett, Colonel Kesari Singh, Robert Ruark and one English man who mostly hunted in South India but Nawab sahabs description is very good.
He shared his experience e. g. Direction of wind, reading pug marks etc are excellent.

Very knowledgeable person. This man is a gift. I am a farmer and I know the problems and the chaos created by excessive herds of wild boar and nilgai.
Government should understand that these two are "least concern" in the IUCN list of animals. It is especially we the farmers who suffer the most. Government and forest department should come together and resolve this issue faced by numerous people including me.
Sad to hear that friend, Indian govt view ppl as pest rather than destructive animal vermin, which are protected like high caste brahmins in the old days
Thankfully Indian govt sucks at its job and ppl in rural areas hunt freely more or less, they just don't post pictures of their exploits like the hunters in the free west
In Udupi ppl hunt small Game and kill vermin all the time with airguns and unlicensed firearms, also use traps, poison etc
I have heard of ppl in my friends village feasting on wild pork during the rainy months when patrols are stuck inside due to rains

Govt has given free hand to “kisan bhai log” to invite their relatives WHO HAS THE SAME LAST NAME or SAME SURNAME eg: Farmer Surinaam Singh Rathod can invite Chacha Dade Mia Rathod to hunt in his fields under “crop protection scheme” act so that the Forest Dept has no obligation to pay compensation.

We should all appreciate him as he got generational knowledge about the wilderness, which is saved and saving many precious human lives. Please do not criticize him. He is not insane. If he really likes to kill animals he can go any part of the world where he can legally hunt, even a LION or whatever you name that's a no big deal for him. So we have to really understand specially the GANDHI lady that he's helping us. In nowadays you can send couple thousand dollars and you can hunt any wild animal you want. Thats not a big deal. At the end I again say we all should appreciate him for his kind effort. Thanks.
It's normal to hunt animals, it's very entertaining, not to mention rewarding and very good for social life as well
Some ppl are just too dishonest weak,cowardly to accept that they aren't as daring as others... They prefer to think they are enlightened, really they are just a waste of space

Very knowledgeable and humble person. Culling should be a part of wild life conservation policy. Wild boar, blue bull and elephants in some regions are a big nuisance and should be allowed to be culled.
Shooting them should become a sport again, the recreation opportunities are immense and wasted due to these bs policies
Wild boars and nilgai are a huge menace, not just to ppl but also other wildlife and habitat
