Can you guest make a custom solution for x4s and x5s in dji inspire 1. It will be amazing to do it.
I have the opposite problem, I have a 3T and need to add a additional streaming camera that can see IR Strobes/Lights for Search Operations. Apparently the FLIR on the 3T cannot see IR and can't be adjusted to do so. The only other option we have right now is using our ATAK app which is fine but we would rather be able to see where our search teams are with IR markers on camera verses having to check ATAK.

Hi there great mode. Can you do this same with mavic 2 pro but instead of thermal camera install the DJI FPV air unit. I wander if possible to see through the DJI goggles and fly mavic 2 pro. Or better to use Hasselblad camera to capture the 4 images and store them on the memory card of the drone and use this same camera to capture the Google’s fpv footage?

What is the range of the FLIR camera’s transmitter?
Was that footage actual footage from this little cam? I doubt it would be good for more than 100 feet like the FLIR for the i-phone, more effective for renovations.
Does anyone know if I could get a DJI Mavic platinum where the camera is replaceable? cuz i don't want the regular camera I want one to be only a thermal drone or being able to switch between the 2 because i like the image being beamed to my phone

That mount needs a little better security - no lock nuts, no knurling - nothing to keep those nuts from backing off with vibration.
The FLIR and other thermal imaging cameras are also pixel limited - I think the biggest is like 320x240 - with no gimbal it likely has real vibration issues while flying.
That said - pretty cool.
We supply wing nuts for the mount, for the video they didn't install them. Shame on Patrick!

With the 5.8 GHz to transmit the FLIR image I imagine the transmission range is much less than what the Mavic can travel. How about some specs on the FLIR camera - What is the resolution?

You always want the vtx range less than radio range, or you’ll end watching helplessly as your drone heads to the crash site. If you get out of DJI format, I’d fly 500hz radio, and 1.3ghz video. No blackouts

Whjat distance are you restricted too with the Flir Camera ? The last 5.8 Ghz Black Pearl monitor I had was terrible and 5.8G is not a great frequency for distortion ! Thanks

I have the USB-c flir camera add on for an android phone. I wish we could swap out the gimbal for one that would allow us to just plug and play the other camera...
I have the iPhone version. I do not use it often as the charge only lasts 15 minutes, then it needs an hour to recharge. There is no way to charge it while in use.
@@petersmith3009 I'm not sure what you mean. There is no charging... It just plugs into my USBC port, there would be no charging or battery on the camera... Other than the drone itself

this is a huge BS dude. Why would you open the drone to fuck it up when you can just install a mount to the drone and apply a wify camera that has build in battery. I used to break stuff like that when i was up to 20 years old. Then i realized.
